PiusX Secretary General: When Pressured, Priest Should Accept "Vaccinations"

A Covid "vaccination" may sometimes be "an eminently prudent act in the moral sense of the term,” Father Arnaud Sélégny, the secretary general of PiusX believes (Fsspx.news, September 24).

When only vaccinated chaplains are admitted to hospital or nursing homes, priests should comply and prefer the salvation of their neighbour to their own "health or tranquillity," Sélégny moralises.

For him, those refusing vaccination, hold “absolute and categorical positions” and lack "charity." Sélégny cannot see the problem with abortion-tainted vaccines as - according to him - a "valid reason proportionate to the possible dangers" makes it "moral" to be vaccinated.

He overlooks that here, the problems start. Covid-19 is no deadly pandemic ("valid reason") but has a flu-like death-rate. The vaccines don't prevent infections nor transmissions and are pushed on political not medical grounds. There is no scientific evidence that vaccinated persons will have "a milder course of the disease."

I'm not that educated of a Catholic, due to a Novus Ordo education regarding my faith. However, I know that what this priest says is utter garbage.

Dear @Ave Crux, I respectfully disagree with you over this matter. You will recall the following Catholic Principles of Morality: "The Ends Never Justify The Means" and "One May Not Do Evil So That Good May Come From It."
"It is immoral to knowingly use any medical products, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, stem cells, you name it, which are derived from tissue obtained via abortion or embryonic …

I'm sorry, no priest may receive the immoral jab based upon what we already know as he would be placing his own immortal soul in peril.

Aside from the moral prohibition please consider the following scenario...
The priest takes the jab with the good intention of gaining access to administer the Sacraments but is immediately seriously permanently harmed or even dies as a result. How many more souls will be deprived the Sacraments as a consequence of that poor decision? God only knows.

BUT..... Catholic theology teaches there is a hierarchy of values, and spiritual death for all eternity far outweighs any other possible consideration in this world.

There are very ill people in those hospitals who are about to die. Even the aborted children themselves -- and good Priests and good Catholics -- would readily give their lives to prevent these souls from dying without Last Rites, Confession and the Apostolic Blessing.

Wouldn't you also rather die and sacrifice your life than allow a person to die and go to Hell without the benefit of Last Rites....? We are talking about spiritual death and hell for all eternity vs. physical death.

In such a case, Catholics who understand the principle of proportionality -- even Bishop Schneider and Archbishop Vigano -- would say that in this case, the hierarchy of values would prevail in this matter, and Priests who wish to be heroic can certainly do so with great merit in the sight of God to bring the Sacraments to those at the point of death.

This is not a matter of the ends justifying the means - i.e. the Priest is not murdering a baby in order to get into the hospital; it is a matter of Priests faced with letting people die without Last Rites, or accepting the imposition of the only vaccine available right now in order to be able to go to them.

At the same time -- until this is resolved -- SSPX and others should launch a lawsuit as they did with the closing of their chapels, to put an end to this requirement.

But for now, one cannot allow people to die without Confession and Last Rites.

Dear Readers, per my comment below: please consider that what is at stake here is letting people terminally in hospitals from all kinds of conditions die without the Sacraments.

If Priests who are not vaccinated are blocked from entering hospitals to bring the Last Rites to the dying, a truly heroic Priest would submit to the vaccine at his own peril (yes, the vaccines are horrific for both moral and medical reasons) rather than let people die without the Last Sacraments.

Accepting the vaccine so as to bring the Sacraments to the dying is the only morally and spiritually proportionate reason I can think of that would justify doing so, even for those who otherwise vehemently object to the vaccines because of their testing/production using fetal cell lines.

Simultaneously, of course, the SSPX should launch a legal battle on this matter just as they did when the States closed churches during the pandemic. BUT, a legal battle takes months and months, and is not guaranteed to succeed; and right now the terminally ill in the hospital need the Sacraments to prepare for death.

A truly faithful Priest will accept every danger to self in order to bring Last Rites to a dying person.

Father the problem is. Does Pharma care about babies?
What happens if some how today the baby tainted line was corrupted? Would they go and help themselves again? There is an anti philosophy at work Jesus Christ in love voluntarily gave his life, these babies how far removed were forced to give their lives for our benefit or perhaps our fall? The injection is presented like the Apple 🍎!

No one can make you do evil and the ends never justify the means. Circulate as you will if they arrest you well the arrested Christ too!

Without commenting on the content of the SSPX statement itself, the very real and urgent problem here is that there are very ill people locked inside of hospitals and nursing homes in danger of dying without the Sacraments.

It doesn't necessarily have to be that they're dying from COVID -- it could be any number of illnesses or fatal medical conditions.

There is no time for a legal intervention for Priests who need to enter the facility in order to bring the Sacraments to people who are dying right at this moment or the imminent future.

Such an intervention would require a long legal battle in the courts; and Priests are presently being forced by the hospitals to get vaccinated in order to enter the facilities to visit the dying or terminally ill.

Such Priests could be faced with the heroic decision to submit to the vaccine -- at their own peril -- in order to bring the Last Rites to souls in need of them.

It is a morally proportionate circumstance in principle and spiritual gravity, and virtually the only one I can think of that would justify a Priest submitting to these horrific vaccines.

Priests don't let people die without the Sacraments, for any reason.

My father was dying and locked in a COVID ward before the vaccines were in use. A kind, heroic Priest entered the facility and the locked COVID unit in order to anoint my father before his death. I cannot tell you what a consolation this was for my family --- and my father.....!!!!!

What if there had been a vaccine mandate at the time, and the Priest refused to go in because he wouldn't take the vaccine, thus depriving my father of Last Rites...?

The spiritual loss to my father -- on the verge of entering Eternity -- and our family would have been incalculable.....
