Viganò Reveals More Dirty Games of Francis Involving Cardinal Sandri
The matter regards “another masterpiece of deception”: the election of the new Dean and Vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals.
Already in June 2018, Francis increased the number of Cardinal-Bishops in order to secure a majority in his favour, Viganò observes. Cardinal Re's, 86, election as the new Dean is for him a “cover” since, for age reasons, Re’s task during the next Conclave will be executed by Vice Dean and Francis stooge, Cardinal Sandri.
Viganó reveals that Sandri helped then-Secretary of State Cardinal Sodano to cover up the scandals surrounding Father Maciel, the Founder of the Legionaries of Christ.
In 2000, Archbishop Justo Mullor (+2016) was removed as the Nuncio in Mexico because he opposed Sodano’s directives to cover up accusations against Maciel. Mullor was replaced by a person loyal to Sodano: Sandri.
This implied moving Sandri after only two years in Venezuela to Mexico, moving Mullor after only two and a half years in Mexico to Rome as the President of the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy, although his predecessor, Archbishop Zur, had been there for only one year. Six months later, Sandri was made Sodano’s Substitute.
The Legionaries didn’t fail to show their gratitude to Sandri. After he was made a cardinal in 2007, he excused himself from attending a lunch in honour of the new cardinals by telling Benedict XVI that “I am expected by five hundred of my guests at the Legionaries of Christ.”
According to Viganò, Francis is “flaunting the most unscrupulous clericalism” by preparing Sandri to preside at the next Conclave.
“We seem to glimpse the approaching shadow of Satan’s synagogue.”
