Madison Bishop Donald Hying, 58, has taken disciplinary action against Father Richard Heilman, a priest of his diocese.
A press release (July 22) mentions as Heilman's only crime that he “has engaged in online social media and other activity involving statements bearing inordinately on controversies stemming from the electoral political realm.”
The specific disciplinary actions taken remain confidential. Heilman is an exorcist and has said that the abortionist and homosexualist Democratic party is infiltrated by demonic powers.
He commented on social media (July 23), “Please don't attack my bishop. He's a good man. I'm doing okay. Thank you, so much, for your prayers.“
On his Twitter account, Bishop Hying says all the right things, but bishops need to be measured by what they do.

A "good man"? Perhaps; I will take the good father's word on that. But not a 'good' bishop, as descended from the line of the apostles, methinks. The road to perdition is paved with 'good' intentions.

I think that all candidates for becoming a bishop are first asked: Do you agree to persecute those who love the Catholic faith, especially priests?

@LiveJohn He doesn’t really “report” to anyone, but he was appointed by the current regime, for what that’s worth.
@John A Cassani Thanks John. My understanding is the bishops report directly to the Supreme Pontiff?
