Idolatry is “a desire for certainty,” the Lenten retreat preacher of the Roman Curia, Jesuit Father Pietro Bovati, fabulated according to VaticanNews.va (March 4).
With this he contradicted the Amazon Synod, which praised paganism as a new revelation.
Bovati explained that idols may take the form of a doctrinal or disciplinary system of rules, and therefore defined idolatry as “rigidity.”
He saw idolatry in “ritualism, in being concerned with beautiful ceremonies which may [or may not] lack authentic prayer.”
In other words: Bovati brown-nosed by echoing Francis' stereotypes.

No Rules, Rigidity, and Ritualism. Who was a better example of that than Smilin' Ted McCarrick?

His comments indicated that he rejects both the Benedictine and the Dominican lives.

One thing we can know with certainty: The Jesuits are The Incredible Shrinking Religious Order--in 20 years they will be of almost no consequence.

Gotta love a guy contradicting the Pope's previous stupidity while promoting the Pope's current stupidity. “ritualism, in being concerned with beautiful ceremonies..." -said the guys who delight in nothing but "beautiful" pagan ceremonies involving pretty flowers, cute pagan shamans, little statuettes of pagan goddesses, and other ceremonal props. Yeah, no.

S.J. you say? Also this particular S.J.is speaking absurd non-sense that a properly taught 7 year could debunk as garbage? Shock and awe.

Idolatry is a sin against the 1st Commandment . Saying it means something else makes no difference. The decision is Christ's. His Laws are what we want to uphold, not yours you apostate, heretic Luciferian. God's Law is being broken and don't you know it!
Get lost!

Like antipope bergoglio this "bovati" is another heretical Jesuit talking the usual nonsense.
Until the antipope is removed this tripe will continue to be preached.
