Francis Attacks Trump Policy: "Illegal Immigrants Not Criminals"

Francis sent an open letter (11 February) to U.S. bishops criticising alleged mass deportations of illegal immigrants.

It is unusual for a pope to issue an open letter on an internal political matter, as the Vatican usually leaves such responses to local bishops.

Francis wrote: "One must recognize the right of a nation to defend itself and protect communities from those who have committed violent or serious crimes while in the country or before arriving."

But he added: "Nevertheless, the act of deporting people who, in many cases, have left their own country for reasons of extreme poverty, insecurity, exploitation, persecution or serious environmental degradation, violates the dignity of many men and women."

Francis even believes that the "rightly formed conscience" must oppose "any measure that tacitly or explicitly identifies the illegal status of some immigrants with criminality."

He compared the exploited illegals to the hard-working and gold-owning Holy Family in exile, calling them "refugees" in Egypt.

The unsaid truth: Church institutions have taken millions of government funds to resettle illegal immigrants in the West, causing unrest there.

At the Vatican, illegal immigrants are criminals...In December, the Vatican increased penalties for people who illegally enter the Vatican City. The new law allows for a prison sentence of up to four years and a fine of up to 25,000 euros for those who enter by force, threat, or deception

This just in: Hundreds of US bishops will house dozens of illegal immigrants in their homes, mansions, etc. They will also order all of their priests to house the same in their rectories. Unused Catholic schools and churches will be opened to all who wish to live there. Doors will never be locked.
Well, maybe not.

The Lord sees and knows ALL and will judge accordingly. He is the Defender of the stranger, the widow, the fatherless and the poor, and He takes up their cause. America, beware. The Lord is looking and He will judge.

Louis IX

The issue is people who break the law to be somewhere where they are not allowed to be. It is possible to help all of the people you mention without them having to break into the US. It used to be called missionary work.

@Louis IX The letter of the “law” regarding a vast number of things and within a vast number of areas is broken by many everyday everywhere with impunity: speeding, crosswalks, inspections, taxes, industry regulations, etc. The Lord looks at the heart, mind and spirit and knows the purpose, intent and actual situation of everyone on this planet. He knows not only “what” we do, but also “why” we do it. He knows not only “who” we are, but also “what” we are, what we have, how we got it, and what we do with what we have. Just as He spoke and demonstrated in Sacred Scripture: Saint Matthew 12:1-7. Thus, He sees and knows ALL. And He looks upon us from His perspective, not ours, but from His, and He will judge accordingly. Not with man’s judgment but with His. His judgment is right and just and will be founded upon that which He has spoken and commanded unto us in righteousness. So America, beware.

Yes America, SonofthefalseChurch is telling it like it is, breaking federal law and allow millions of people in is the way to go... don't worry @Louis IX breaking federal law (according to the Trump bashers - democrats) is awesome.

Louis IX

SonoftheChurch, because others break just laws doesn’t make it fine to do so.

Pope to U.S. bishops: Mass deportations a “major crisis”

Homan to Francis:The Border Czar fired back, “I’ve got harsh words for the Pope.” He continued, “He ought to fix the Catholic Church and concentrate on his work and leave border enforcement to us.”

Francis laments the “major crisis” of mass deportations and responded directly to JD Vance: “true ordo amoris that must be promoted is that which we discover by meditating constantly on the parable of the “ Good Samaritan”

Louis IX

So we should let in the robbers who left the man in the ditch for the Good Samaritan to find? They stole from him as assuredly as people who do not follow the just laws of the land and take advantage of money and services that others have labored to make possible. Is that the lesson of the Good Samaritan?

Denis Efimov

We know about his "ordo amoris" from his disgusting heretical book "Amoris laetitia", not even fit for a toilet as a disposable paper. Besides, we have been observing his hatred towards Catholics for twelve years. So he is clearly not a person who understands anything about "amoris".
