Francis accepted on December 12 the resignation of Bishop Robert Byrne, 66, of Hexham and Newcastle, England.
Byrne said that after prayer and reflection, he had concluded that “the office of the Diocesan Bishop has become too great a burden and feel I can no longer serve the people of the Diocese in the way I would wish.“
He was appointed only in 2019. He is an Oratorian, founder and former provost of the excellent Oxford Oratory and open-minded towards the Roman Mass. During his time in Oxford he introduced a weekly Roman Mass.

Why do good faithful Catholics stand for this? Just walk out. Go to the SSPX, or help found more traditional religious Orders and the "H" with what the established Pope Francis church thinks.
