Latest Blasphemy: Pachamama Monstrance In Mexico
San Juan de Macias parish in Guadalajara, Mexico, uses a Pachamama "monstrance" to make fun of the consecrated host.
The parish is run by a Spanish born Father Juan Pedro Oriol. MarcoTosatti.com (July 1) reports that Oriol is “very powerful” in Guadalajara archdiocese and that the local Cardinal José Robles Ortega, 72, “cannot say no to about anything” - unless it's Catholic.
For the first time, the Pachamama "monstrance" was seen at a recent youth festival (picture).
Pachamama is a fertility goddess revered in the Andes. It is said to be mother/wife of Inti (sun god) and the mother of Mama Killa (moon goddess), and has a connection to effeminate homosex priests.
