Voris Falls for the Second Time — Culture Wars

Saying that Voris “brought so many people to the Church by his fidelity” is only slightly less preposterous than saying that his S & M leather bar Church …

@frawley @Joe Martinez Actually, it's not that we don't pity Voris personally....what's so galling is the rank hypocrisy with which he acted, that while he was destroying the reputation of so many other people -- most especially when he tried to discredit entire groups of innocent Priests (e.g. SSPX Priests and Traditionalist Priests) by associating them with the same pool of filth -- he himself …More
@frawley @Joe Martinez Actually, it's not that we don't pity Voris personally....what's so galling is the rank hypocrisy with which he acted, that while he was destroying the reputation of so many other people -- most especially when he tried to discredit entire groups of innocent Priests (e.g. SSPX Priests and Traditionalist Priests) by associating them with the same pool of filth -- he himself was guilty of the same crimes behind the scenes that he was accusing and condemning others publicly for, while smearing and repudiating Priests for the same sins he was committing in order to build his own reputation as a investigative journalist.

It was this very kind of hypocrisy that Our Lord Himself condemned in the Pharisees with holy hatred....you can read about it in the Gospels.

@Ave Crux When lay or clergy are firmly in the grip of satan and attempt to destroy those who are not, we must pray that God delivers them from that enslavement for they are often beyond helping themselves.

@frawley I absolutely agree. However, clarifying the right and wrong of a situation also serves as a lesson for all and contributes to our own correction and understanding. That's why Our Lord openly and publicly condemned the hypocrisy of the Pharisees.

I am particularly concerned about -- and was deeply grieved by -- how Voris attempted to destroy the reputation and credibility of good, innocent priests because of the sins of a very few among their ranks.

By publicly clarifying Voris's own lack of qualifications to be passing such judgments, it helps restore -- in part -- the reputations of the innocent priests he tried to destroy.

So much for hate the sin and love the sinner!

I still pity him, perhaps because of my own struggles with hetero lust. He had a lot of good things to say and I found his talk, "Meet James" was quite a reality check. He carries a heavy cross of public humiliation but I don't agree with his claim of being a victim soul. I've always understood that to be a term reserved for holy people. Ora pro nobis.

Correction the author is Randy Engel...no s.

“All the Men Behind the Opus Dei Curtain” - It reveals that all principals are Opus Dei and casts E Michael Jones in a particularly bad light. It really explains a lot.

Voris should bury himself in some monastery in the desert somewhere, do severe penance and never be heard from again.

I would gladly go to the SSPX, or any other "schismatic/sedevacantist" Catholic parish that has the traditioonal Latin Mass rather than worry if they were "in union" with Rome or not. I would gladly go to the SSPX, or any other "schismatic/sedevacantist" Catholic parish that has the traditioonal Latin Mass rather than worry if they were "in union" with Rome or not. THat would be fine, if Rome was the traditional VAtican and Church it always was before heretic Pope Francis, and especially after his pro-homo decree two weeks ago. Compared to him and what he is trying to turn the Church into, I would have no sense of guilt etc. going to the schismatic traditional Catholic parish, because I know I would be saving my soul with the True Mass, not blindly and "obediently" following Pope Francis and his fake bishops into mortal sin accepting the heresy, especially regarding this recent pro-homo decree, that came from his Vatican.
If, after this pro-homosexual decree, there are still Catholics who call him "Holy Father", or which to remain in his Church, need to seriously be deprogrammed, because they are brainwashed into believing that the Pope and VAtican are some kind of ":gods" that whatever He/they say is of God. Which ain't true this time...and hasn't been since 2013.

I read that Voris sent pictures of himself naked or shirtless IN THE GYM to young guys who work at ChurchMILITANT. I am in my 20's and I work out in the gym 3x a week. But I got to say, lots of people at the gym know that some guys in their 60's like Voris, who try to look jacked, are more than likely homosexuals...like Voris is.

In the gym I go to, almost no older men (like Voris), bother with the free weights or the machines, They like the cardio, and especially the pool (not for any sex reasons, just to relax swimming afew laps). But nearly 0 guys older than 50 work out like me in my 20's, or guys in their 30's.Voris doing what he does is sick. I am so glad he was fired, and I hope ChurchMilitant goes down. None of them stood up for Catholic Tradition. They were all for the Novus Ordo and the Vatican II church, and persecuted traditionalist CAtholics and religious Orders. THey are basically pro-Pope Francis, which is why I hope they close up.

Sad to watch for both camps. The thing to learn here is, you should always forgive.

@Carolan Agreed ....which is also exactly what Voris was doing. Interestingly, I could never watch Voris without feeling singularly nauseous, as though there was something impure going on, even though I thought the news he was reporting on was important. @Carolan Agreed ....which is also exactly what Voris was doing. Interestingly, I could never watch Voris without feeling singularly nauseous, as though there was something impure going on, even though I thought the news he was reporting on was important. It was as though all that was hidden behind the scenes unknown to us was somehow communicating itself through him, nonetheless, and I felt it. I just couldn't look at his face without feeling it. So, for awhile I listened to his news commentaries without looking at him; then I stopped even doing that because a feeling of something impure kept coming through. Purity is one of the virtues that truly radiates from the faces and persona of those who practice it.

I am so done with Jones. I am no fan of Voris, but Jones has degenerated into wallowing in garbage, rejoicing it seems in other people's failings and misery. Take the mote out of your own eye, EMJ!
