It is literally impossible to overstate or exaggerate the overwhelming gravity of the earth shattering, heaven quaking, potentially soul-destroying essence of what he has alleged and would have us all to believe: that a living Cardinal, a Prince of Holy Mother Church, who participated in the 2013 Papal Conclave which elected Pope Francis as the Bishop of Rome and Supreme Pontiff of the universal Church, has possession of personal, direct and explicit knowledge of canonically illicit and unlawful conduct perpetrated by his Brother-Cardinals during the said Conclave; provable, first-hand, experiential knowledge that unquestionably nullifies and invalidates the entire 10-year Pontificate of the sitting Pope, thus erasing and negating every juridical, liturgical and ecclesial act committed in the name of and under the auspices of the current occupant of the Throne of Saint Peter along with all those whom he has empowered and authorized to act on his and the Church’s behalf - the abrogation of every single thing done and every single word uttered; and that this Prince of the Church, who, as a Cardinal-Elector, was present during, and actively participated in, the allegedly “illegal” Conclave and allegedly saw or observed for himself these blasphemous and nefarious illegitimate acts being committed, which, if true, would have immediately and automatically invalidated the election of the Papal Candidate in question and excommunicated latae sententiae both the Candidate and all those who participated in, supported, allowed, or even knew of the hellish scheme and did nothing to expose or to stop it (including, by the way, this very same accuser-Cardinal), and who now, 10 years later, holding fast to this knowledge, wishes to keep it in secret from the whole world and remain anonymous and hidden in obscurity. This is what Archbishop Viganò would have us all to accept and believe.
Therefore, YES, if the Archbishop hopes to be perceived and received as in any way credible, then HE MUST NAME this secret Cardinal and identity him before Holy Mother Church and the whole world, and bring his knowledge of this alleged betrayal, this vile, sordid and unscrupulous deception, this treasonous sacrilege and profanation, the most heinous and monstrous crime, if true, to have ever been committed against mankind in our modern age, portending such dire and eternally immutable consequences so unspeakably damning and damaging that they can hardly be comprehended, to the blazing light of open exposure and public scrutiny.
Because if the Archbishop doesn’t reveal the identity of this Cardinal, and force him to come forward with his full and unabridged testimony along with the fact-based, tangible evidence that proves his eternity-altering allegations which this unknown Cardinal claims to possess, and which would most certainly be required to undo and invalidate a universally acknowledged and accepted Pontificate, then the Archbishop himself is utterly and entirely complicit in the diabolical undermining and overthrow of the Papal Throne and the absolute ruination of the Church herself. His failure or refusal to identify and call out the name of this accuser-Cardinal would be as culpably murderous as if he had thrust a poisoned, filthy, feces-encrusted dagger directly into the beating hearts of the all the Faithful, and with equal effect. He would be, as I’ve long suspected, just another sour grapes-embittered, disingenuous, hypocritical provocateur, steeped in prideful arrogance and dishonesty, an unethical schemer of the lowest, basest type who wields calumny like a weapon, and takes joy in throwing a burning torch into a room soaked in gasoline and stacked with dynamite, and then, runs away with the only known key to the nearest water hydrant. Particularly in as much as he had the temerity to also, boldly and without reservation, reference and connect to this current allegation the as yet unfounded 1958 Papal Conclave conspiracy theory regarding Cardinal Giuseppe Siri and the White and Black smoke supposedly seen from the Sistine Chapel; an unproven tall tale which is constantly vomited out by the hoodwinked and bamboozled adherents of sedevacantism as their mad rationale for abandoning the Church. Such a regurgitation of tainted and spurious drivel totally stains the reliability of his statements and spawns formidable doubt regarding his credibility and even his standing within the Church. Especially since, astoundingly, he infers that he actually believes the 1958 Siri conspiracy theory and must, as a result, be considered a raging sedevacantist himself. An appalling and revolting admission that, I’m sure, shocked us all….who knew?
His first published testimony was informative but ineffective, in view of the fact that either he lied about the existence of the documented proof he claimed would substantiate his allegations against the Holy Father, or he refused to produce the documents he so rigorously contended were available; because there is simply no way possible, given his many years of experience as a shrewd and cunning agent of the Vatican, who had spent his entire ecclesiastical career within the plot-filled, cut-throat, back-stabbing, Machiavellian bowels of the Roman Curia, that he would not have KEPT copies of every single significant document either issued or received by him that might someday prove useful to him in a conflict or dispute, especially one that would involve the highest levels of the Apostolic See itself. Thus, there is no way possible that if he actually POSSESSED the evidentiary documents proving and confirming the inflammatory statements in his first published testimony, he would not have paraded them smugly before the entire planet - which, alas, he did not do; giving irrefutable credence to the belief that such tangible evidence of his heretofore unfounded allegations does not, in fact, exist. Not only that, but his recent hugely partisan political rants and rabid-driven diatribes, which are as unwholesome as explosive diarrhea and just as unceasing, and which have absolutely no relevance with respect to the spiritual state of the Church whatsoever, are massively unproductive and only serve Satan’s purpose in engendering further political strife, contention, confusion, chaos and division among the Faithful.
Thus, you will forgive me if I maintain a healthy skepticism of his shocking and appalling story about this unidentified “Cardinal.” Because to believe the Archbishop would be to believe that a great many holy men, holy Priests, faithful and dedicated Servants of Christ, who have been proven over many years to be men of tremendous truthfulness, honor and integrity, with impeccable and unimpeachable character, honest to a fault even in the face of opposition and detriment, and for whom I have, and have always had, a very high degree of regard, reverence and respect, have - in total contravention of their character - knowingly, willingly and cooperatively allowed an illegal Papal election to take place, which resulted in a false pretender to be elected to the Throne of Saint Peter as his Successor and Chief Shepherd of the Church. There is NO other way to see it. There is no other way possible to realize and understand what the Archbishop is saying here, unless you are prepared to believe and accept the inescapable fact and inevitable reality that every single Cardinal who had any knowledge of this whatsoever, regardless of how minute that knowledge was or at what level of their involvement or when they become aware of it, is fully complicit in what happened and is guilty of what has befallen the Church and the world – and that they all (the senior, conservative ones) had to have known of it. There can be no other way to see this. For, it would be entirely impossible for such a thing to happen in full view and under the very noses of the leading, orthodox, senior Cardinal-Electors of the Church who were present and active participants during the entirety of that Conclave, and they not know of it. It is not conceivable for this to have occurred right there in their very presence, and they failed to recognize what was happening among them or what had already happened. Such a transpiring would be utterly inescapable.
Great and holy Princes of the Church and Defenders of the Faith, such as their Eminences: Cardinal Robert Sarah, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Cardinal Raymond Burke and the other “Dubia” Cardinals, Walter Brandmüller, the late Carlo Caffarra, and the late Joachim Meisner, along with the late, great, indomitable Cardinal George Pell, were all THERE at the 2013 Conclave, before, during and after, participating in all of the General Congregations of the College of Cardinals and all other proceedings held prior to the sequestering for the actual Conclave itself and all Consistories of Cardinals afterward; and thus, would have KNOWN about these satanic antics if they had, in fact transpired. These pious men of extreme devotion to Christ and His Church, who have spent their entire lifetimes in her service and in the propagation of the Gospel and the promulgation of the Deposit of Faith would never, ever have allowed such a grotesque perversion of Holy Mother Church to occur under their watch. They would have immediately exposed and revealed it, and would NEVER have allowed the illegal election of a pretender to the Holy See as the Bishop of Rome, nor would these men have countenanced a fake, false Pope to misrule and abuse the Church and drive it to damnation and desolation for over 10 years while they sat silently and impotently keeping his illegitimacy a secret, placing themselves under the bane of excommunication latae sententiae, to the repudiation of their own Priesthood and the obliteration of their own personal legacy of lifelong service to the Church.
That such men would be willing to just go along silently with an abomination of this magnitude is unthinkable. The enormity of it would be nothing less than the rape of the Church and the prostitution of the Faithful, and a violent assault on the sanctity of the Blessed Mother herself. Even His Holiness, the Pope Emeritus, would have had to have known of such a foul falsehood, and would have been contaminated by his silent complicity into the very evening and sunset of his life. I absolutely refuse to believe that Benedict would have deigned to enter into eternity having the inescapable Judgement of God before him, carrying with him into the arms of death this burden of iniquity on his shoulders: the sure knowledge that he allowed a falsely elected Pope to reign as a wolf in Shepherd’s clothing over the whole Church in his stead.
In view of all these factors, I must readily conclude that I do not - CANNOT - believe the Archbishop’s accounting. I believe that either he or his anonymous source is lying. However, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that the many and varied severe implications of what he alleges in his interview are as such that the very nature and veracity of the Church herself is called into question; creating a despair-fueled vortex of uncertainty and instability that has the potential to become cataclysmic. Such an environment would soon escalate into a situation that is wholly intolerable; and therefore, it must, above all else and with all immediate haste, be addressed and resolved. So yes, for the sake of transparency and truth, by all means, NAME THE CARDINAL, Archbishop Viganò, if you dare…and save the Church.
