Francis’ Annual Christmas Rant: "Listen And Obey"

Turning reality upside down, Francis warned in his Christmas speech to the Curia – a long and tedious rant - against “spiritual worldliness” often "concealed" in things that "reassure" such as “liturgy, doctrine, religious devotion” - three things he hates from the bottom of his heart.

He called for a "humility," which “allows people to be open to what is new, since they feel secure in what has gone before them” - while he is stuck in the ideology of the 1960s.

Then he talked again about himself, “The proud simply repeat, grow rigid and enclose themselves in that repetition, feeling certain about what they know and fearful of anything new because they cannot control it; they feel destabilised.”

Francis called the Curia to undergo a “synodal conversion,” explaining that – and he must know - “clericalism is a perverse temptation” spreading “daily in our midst.”

It “makes us keep thinking of a God who speaks only to some, while the others must only listen and obey” - he said, making unwittingly fun about himself.

Christians actually do believe in a God who sometimes speaks only to some while others are to listen and obey.

The core of the message can fairly be summed up as: Merry Christmas, you lepers!

"open to what is new" "fearful of anything new." Just because something is "new" does not make it good. Pachamama-themed mass, for example.

For a guy who is obviously much more conversant in psychiatric literature than the Catechism, you would think he would know how obviously he is “projecting.” Sickos never know they’re sick, I guess.

Being a pope is not hard. You have the dogma. You have Jesus Christ. All you have to do is have faith and courage.
Being an antipope and a heretic is very hard. You have to hate others. You have to constantly plot, scheme. You have to hate life, hate God, and God's creation. You have to resent. You have to envy. You have to indulge in disgusting actions. And you have to deny the reality every minute …More

Once again, an attack against the Holy Father. The authors are poisoning the minds of Catholics to hate and attack the Pope through twisting and misrepresenting his words and intentions. Much like Catholics 500 years ago who attacked the pope and twisted his words with the same skill that they twisted and misinterpreted the Sacred Scriptures. Don’t be fooled; these days the devil hides and cloaks himself in “traditionalism” to mislead and turn Catholics agains the Holy Father:

“Traditional-ism” is just the latest “ism” that the devil uses to usher people into sectarianism and cults. An example of this is the Palmerian church, an offshoot of SSPX. Here is their “pope Gregory XVII” having a “mystical vision”. They are a “traditionalist” group claiming to be the “true church”. Notice all the traditional garb: youtu.be/pGUQqNgffUM

Your Holy Father will be anathema when the Catholic Pope arrives.

Awesome comment V.R.S., sharp and to the point, expressing the feelings of millions of faithful Catholics who have little time or regard for the present incumbent and his un-Catholic agenda, associates and appointments.

The problem is not the pope but the gossipers and slanderers who twist his words and intentions. Just as they did to Christ..

Francis to Roman Curia: “Our living memory of Tradition, of our roots, is not worship of the past but an interior movement whereby we constantly bring to our hearts everything that preceded us, marked our history and brought us to where we are today.”

Last paragraph is Francis' insult towards the Tridentine Latin Mass and faithful Catholics who are devoted to it.

Standing there at his simple, plain podium and giving his screed to the Curia, insulting Catholics and Catholic tradition, I wonder if he knows how much he probably is actually hated by many in the Curia and lower clergy there.....not to mention the world-wide Catholic faithful. When Benedict XVI gave his Christmas speech to the Curia, he dressed and looked like a real pope. This guy in this picture looks like he could be any loud-mouthed, ignorant evangelical preacher, or an old, worn out ordinary 1960's radical liberal pastor down to his last days, still clinging to the "Vatican II era" as if it were a "Golden Age" he wants to recapture.....trying to lead an unwilling audience to follow his path.

The vast majority of the over a BILLION people who make up the “world-wide Catholic faithful” do not “hate” the Holy Father, @Kenjiro M. Yoshimori, as you infer in your comment, nor do they hold him in disdain or even see him as you do from your seditious perspective. The vast and overwhelming number of Catholic Faithful around the world love and adore Pope Francis as our Holy Father and hold him in reverence and filial devotion as the Vicar of Christ on Earth, just as the ancient dogmatic Teachings and Magisterium of Holy Mother Church expects and requires us to, even though we may not always agree with or fully understand everything he says or does. He is the Successor of Saint Peter and so we love him, and in fidelity submit to him in obedience, praying fervently for him, without all of the rancor and vileness with which you and others seem to delight in castigating him.

Blessedly, those who think like you about the Holy Father, and who spew such poisonous, calumnious, vicious venom about him, greatly offending Our Lady daily with your blasphemous sacrilege spoken hatefully about her Son’s own Vicar, are only a tiny microscopic minuscule portion of the Church, numbering only in the thousands among the more than a BILLION Catholics throughout the entire world. The greater portion of the Church now exists in Asia, Africa, Central and South America, the Pacific Rim, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, where Pope Francis is dearly beloved; not just in Western Europe and North America or the United States anymore, where most of the little seditious enclaves of papal hatred and animosity are found.

You, and others who think like you, have allowed yourself to be enclosed in a self deluded bubble created by right-wing political extremists, who claim falsely to be “traditionalists” and who use the loud, raucous, rabid voice of the blogosphere and media outlets they control to bamboozle you and others like you into thinking mistakenly that it is all of you who actually speak for the whole Church, when in fact, you speak only for your small schismatic minority, as you attempt to complete and perfect the work of the apostate Luther and his freemason infidels who have always and forever sought to pull down and destroy the Throne of Saint Peter and slay its occupant.

But it shall never be so. This is Christ’s Church and the Holy Father is His Vicar. Thus, Heaven’s mightiest Warrior, Saint Michael the Archangel, and Saint Joseph, Guardian of the Church and Terror of Demons, stand in invincible watchfulness to protect Holy Mother Church and her Chief Shepherd from all harm sent from the abyss of hell.

Don’t fool yourself….POPE FRANCIS IS LOVED!

It must be supremely fulfilling to be as self-righteous as you @SonoftheChurch. You are wrong with your screed professing undying loyalty and devotion to the "Vicar of Christ", which is laughable, because Bergoglio himself renounced that title, as well as "Successor of Peter". If you don't mind, I and MILLIONS of other faithful Catholics will wait for a true Roman Catholic loyal to the teachings …More
