What Will Change with the Abolition of Summorum Pontificum? Nothing

Bergoglio doesn’t understand the liturgy and therefore is not interested in it at all, Caminante-Wanderer.Blogspot.com (June 7) writes.

The blog explains that Francis is incapable of perceiving the Church's supernatural dimension and the mystery expressed in the liturgy, “For him, the Church is merely a factor of power destined, at best, to maintain a certain social order.”

Consequently, liturgy is for him a “decadent and unnecessary luxury” and an unjustified “waste of time” and those who like the liturgy must necessarily be “sick,” or “rigid” – in any case “they are not normal people.”

Caminate makes the interesting point that “the situation would not change at all” if Summorum Pontificum were limited in the way it has been leaked: the old rite institutes would not be touched, only diocesan priests which would need the permission of their bishops “which was already the case.”

The blog explains that “the power to authorise or not to authorise the Roman Rite was, in fact, always in the hands of the diocesan bishop” because the implementing authority – the ex-Commission Ecclesia Dei - had no power of coercion to enforce the norm.

If the rumor that there would be visitations to the seminaries of the Ecclesia Dei communities in order to bring them into conformity with post Vatican II priestly formation were true, then those communities would be greatly effected. The main mission of the FSSP is to provide traditional priestly formation. If they could no longer do that, they would have the biggest crisis since their founding. …More

I pray that this rumor is false, along with all the rest.

It will favour the FSSPX and the sedevacantists.
Ave Crux
Nothing will stop the SSPX from fulfilling the mandates of their Priesthood. Deo Gratias...!

For some Catholics, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will simply go underground. But may I suggest that Traditional Catholics begin the good habit of leaving all traceable trackable technology at home. No mobile phone, no GPS, nor laptop, use no vehicle with OnStar or other Connected Services to travel to the destination... leave all RFID identification (credit / debit cards, driver's license, passports, etc. ) far far away from the worship site. We need to begin to prepare for the coming open persecution of Catholics. Learn who is trustworthy and make certain your communication network is free from all electronic eavesdropping / surveillance. Perhaps most importantly... Keep your mouth shut.
