The Critic Is Sensitive to Criticism: Parolin Criticises EWTN
While Francis is relentlessly insulting Catholics, he is sensitive when Catholics try to help him with criticism.
Accordingly, Cardinal Parolin said at an EWTN Gala Dinner in Frascati, Italy (October 19) that Catholic media have to live in a "spirit of communion" with the "Bishop of Rome" explaining that "this is all the more urgent today in a time marked by overly-dramatic debates, also within the Church, which do not even spare the person and the Magisterium of the Pontiff.”
Parolin concealed the fact that Francis is the initiator of these "overly-dramatic debates" and discrediting the Magisterium of the Church.
EWTN should be “at the service of the Church and the Pope,” Parolin insisted as if this were not already the case.
He expressed the wish that "the spirit of communion with the Pope" [but not with his heresies] "be the distinctive sign of your work.”
