Three Days Too Early? 134 Jokers Demand "Abolition" of Traditional Latin Mass

A group of 134 unknown people, mostly Italians, signed a March 29 open letter demanding to abolish the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM).

The letter should have been published three days later. The group's ringleader is Andrea Grillo, an anti-Catholic who teaches "liturgy" for the Benedictines at Sant'Anselmo in Rome.

Grillo's letter claims that the TLM is "closed in a historical past." The same could be said about Christ, the Gospel, Mozart.

He calls the Mass that - unlike the Novus Ordo - attracts young families, young people and young vocations "inert," "crystallised," "lifeless," "without vigour.”

According to him, the TLM "immunises" the faithful from what he calls "school of prayer of the Second Vatican Council," although this council's "school of prayer" was the TLM.

Grillo calls Paul VI's failed liturgical reform, which broke with the council, "providentially given to the common ecclesial journey."

Thus, he believes that "a dual, conflictual ritual form will lead to a significant division in the faith." Simultaneously, Grillo supports an Amazon Rite, but seems to ignore that there are presently 17 different rites in the Latin Church alone of which he wants only to destroy the TLM.

It's symbolic that he published the letter precisely when the Novus Ordo is suspended worldwide, while the TLM continues allover in the underground.

The Church began in the catacombs, and will end in the catacombs.
We will be in the houses listening to mass as always, at the price of our lives.

Hasn't this so-called Catholic Educator read "Quo Primum" by St Pius V?.... The Novus Ordo has no such instruction that it has been commanded" in perpetuity" to be celebrated by ALL RC Clergy. Pope Saint Pius V, called down the wrath of God on anyone who failed to uphold this Constitution regarding the Traditional Latin Rite Mass. I know that doesn't bother YOU much, but the Pope decreed INSPIRED BY THE HOLY GHOST, that it would be God's DIVINE Will, that the entire RC Church not create new Masses EVER....He, the Pope (A Canonised SAINT) spoke on God's behalf, using Dogmatic Language (which Paul VI did not) and you're not allowed to argue. Scripture warns us to take God's Commands seriously. So prepare for Hell fire. Whether you believe in it or not. Hell is not a place that ceases to exist just because you don't like the sound of it.

Christ won't allow non-submission to The the Decrees of the Holy Council of Trent , neither will he prohibit the penalty decided by Pope Pius V on none compliance.

I honestly think you need to reconsider your appalling attitudes, God doesn't change His Laws, simply to gratify your strange preference for a "banal" "on the spot" "Protestantized" pseudo none Latin Liturgy.

APOSTOLIC CONSTITUTION

"All other of the churches referred to above, however, are hereby denied the use of other missals, which are to be discontinued entirely and absolutely; whereas, by this present Constitution, which will be valid henceforth, now, and forever, We order and enjoin that nothing must be added to Our recently published Missal, nothing omitted from it, nor anything whatsoever be changed within it under the penalty of Our displeasure.

We specifically command each and every patriarch, administrator, and all other persons or whatever ecclesiastical dignity they may be, be they even cardinals of the Holy Roman Church, or possessed of any other rank or pre-eminence, and We order them in virtue of holy obedience to chant or to read the Mass according to the rite and manner and norm herewith laid down by Us and, hereafter, to discontinue and completely discard all other rubrics and rites of other missals, however ancient, which they have customarily followed; and they must not in celebrating Mass presume to introduce any ceremonies or recite any prayers other than those contained in this Missal.

Furthermore, by these presents [this law], in virtue of Our Apostolic authority, We grant and concede in perpetuity that, for the chanting or reading of the Mass in any church whatsoever, this Missal is hereafter to be followed absolutely, without any scruple of conscience or fear of incurring any penalty, judgment, or censure, and may freely and lawfully be used. Nor are superiors, administrators, canons, chaplains, and other secular priests, or religious, of whatever title designated, obliged to celebrate the Mass otherwise than as enjoined by Us. We likewise declare and ordain that no one whosoever is forced or coerced to alter this Missal, and that this present document cannot be revoked or modified, but remain always valid and retain its full force notwithstanding the previous constitutions and decrees of the Holy See, as well as any general or special constitutions or edicts of provincial or synodal councils, and notwithstanding the practice and custom of the aforesaid churches, established by long and immemorial prescription – except, however, if more than two hundred years’ standing......."

" Therefore, no one whosoever is permitted to alter this notice of Our permission, statute, ordinance, command, precept, grant, indult, declaration, will, decree, and prohibition. Would anyone, however, presume to commit such an act, he should know that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul.

Given at St. Peter’s in the year of the Lord’s Incarnation, 1570, on the 14th of July of the Fifth year of Our Pontificate."

Maybe they'd be more persuaded if they read the advance warning regarding a "New Mass"

"He calls the Mass.. "inert," "crystallised," "lifeless," "without vigour.”" Hey, he forgot "rigid"! It doesn't go in the Francis Fan Club Newsletter until he says "rigid". Somebody tell him! He has to use that exact word.
