Lucky Mrs Bergoglio!

Clara Bergoglio, 96, hails from Portocomaro, the town in Asti province, Italy, where Francis' ancestors were born. She is also Francis’ second cousin.

Recently, Clara found in her home an interest-bearing postal voucher which was issued to her father in 1955 with a nominal value of 10'000 lire.

The present value oft he bond was assessed with €141,350.00 ($164’000).
