His fluffy argument: "That would lead us to a very difficult and negative image of God."
With the phrase "God loves us and accepts us, so the message of Jesus" Marx gets rid of God.
Not surprisingly, Christ says the opposite: "There will be famines and plagues and earthquakes" (Mt 24:7).
In the present situation Marx trusts in "Germany", the "State", "liberal democracy," "solidarity," "the togetherness of our society," and in “those who bear the political responsibility."
In other words: Marx refuses to convert - God’s punishment will continue.

"There will be famines and plagues and earthquakes" (Mt 24:7) Famine has no place in Cardinal Marx's Bible. God's punishment looms a litle closer every year at his annual check-up... :D
