Roman Churches Open Again

The Roman Cardinal Vicar Angelo De Donatis “modified” his March 13 decree by which he locked all Roman churches.

Now, he states that the churches can be opened, but this must be done with great care limiting people's contact with each other.

He states that he is [or became] aware of the [negative] "symbolic meaning" of the original closing of all churches.

""drastic measures are not always good" -Pope Francis. That's right. No Masses, no ushers with donation baskets. You catch on quick, Jorge. ;-)
I agree with Francis, for once.

@De Profundis But who is the boss?

At Mass this morning, in an apparent rebuke of the Italian Bishops' Conference decision to close all the Churches in Italy, Pope Francis said "drastic measures are not always good", praying that the "people of God be accompanied with the Word of God, the Sacraments, and prayer."
