The Pachamama bishops of the Brazilian Amazon say that data on the coronavirus in the region is alarming.
65 Bishops and 2 Apostolic Administrators as well as Pachamama Cardinal Claudio Hummes expressed on May 5 their “immense concern” about the coronavirus in the Amazon area.
They warn that the mortality rate is one of the highest in Brazil and that the health systems in the main cities, such as Manaus and Belém, has collapsed.
According to them, statistics provided by the media don’t correspond to reality, “Many people with obvious symptoms of the disease die at home without medical assistance and without access to a hospital.”

After an exacting count, they're exactly half as many as you make. Since you asked. :D

Thanks, always generous @Ultraviolet, sticking his nose into places no one asked for stupidity to be added to the recipe. But, of course, that's what the virtue of liberality is all about, that's your thing, your talent, admirable

"sticking his nose into places no one asked" ....said the guy who did exactly that over here. Hypocrisy "doesn't look good" @enemacasanova As I have said before, apply your standards evenly. ;-)
