“Biden-Harris. First time in a while that the Democratic ticket hasn’t had a Catholic on it. Sad” – Providence Bishop Thomas Tobin, Rhode Island, tweeted on August 11.
The same day, U.S. Presidential hopeful and millionaire Joseph Biden had selected another millionaire, Kamala Harris, as his vice-presidential running mate.
Biden is a self-professed “Catholic” who supports abortion, homosexual pseudo-marriage, and in vitro fertilisation.
On May 7, Bishop Tobin tweeted, “Just saw a headline in a Catholic newspaper with the phrase ‘pro-abortion Catholic.’ Sorry. That’s a contradiction in terms.”
The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls abortion a “moral evil” and “gravely contrary to the moral law.”
On May 2016, the University of Notre Dame gave Biden the Laetare Medal, once considered the highest honor for American Catholics.

Both have officiated gay weddings, does that line up with any Catholic teaching?
