Strasbourg Archbishop Luc Ravel, 64, has forbidden the celebration of the annual Requiem Mass for King Louis XVI (1754-1793) in Strasbourg Cathedral invoking the mischievous Traditiones Custodes, Una Voce France reports.
Therefore, this year's Requiem will be celebrated by Father Pierre-Marie Berthe of the Society of St Pius X in their chapel in Strasbourg on January 21.
This Requiem for the King has been celebrated since 1993 (!) in the Cathedral.

My Aunt and Uncle live in L.A. They've been in the USA longer than my immediate family ( they since 2000, us since 2010). My uncle is fortunate to be a very well known cardiologist …More

My Aunt and Uncle live in L.A. They've been in the USA longer than my immediate family ( they since 2000, us since 2010). My uncle is fortunate to be a very well known cardiologist who made much money from his practice. He used to give $$$$ each year to "Peter's Pence" an other regular Catholic fundraisers in the Los Angeles diocese. I sent them a long e-mail at Christmas about Francis, and his "Traditiones Custodes" and Roach's rules, etc. Although they're not tradtional like me, they're not giving anything this year because of all the info I send to them. My uncle couldn't believe the Pope doing something like this., and all his thugs. Basically, I told him to " don't be brainwashed....open your eyes" to the reality of Francis. LIke most Catholics who find out the truth, their opinion of Francis and his Vatican went from the usuall naive, pious Catholics, to being now critical and informed.....and very disliking of Francis.
