Francis has appointed layman, Maximino Caballero Ledo,as the new Prefect of the Secretariat of the Economy of the Holy See. The Spaniard, father of two, is a childhood friend of outgoing Prefect Fr. Juan Antonio Guerrero S.J. who resigned for personal reasons.
