Conservative Cardinal Believes in "Moral Obligation" To Accept Controversial Vaccines

Accepting Covid-vaccines is a “moral obligation" but that doesn’t imply that it is also a juridical one, Utrecht Cardinal Willem Eijk, Netherlands, a trained physician and moral theologian, said at an October 23 Rome conference of Voice of the Family, Edward Pentin reports.

He added that compulsory vaccination cannot be justified, "The vaccine should be taken voluntarily.” Eijk, a friend of the Roman Mass, is considered one of the few remaining Catholic Cardinals.

Despite his claims, there are many arguments against the morality of the vaccines such as their abortion-link, their inefficacy, side effects, and unknown long-term effects. Further, an effective early treatment of Covid-19 is a better option.

I'm convinced that it's rather immoral to persuade my kids and family in good health to subject themselves to some weird medical experiment.

Public magistrates have no direct power over the bodies of their subjects; therefore, where no crime has taken place and there is no cause present for grave punishment, they can never directly harm, or tamper with the integrity of the body, either for the reasons of eugenics or for any other reason. I read over the Voice of the Family transcript of his presentation and I am at a bit of a loss over his conclusions since his footnotes seem to 'cherry-pick' from the literature to make sure he doesn't ruffle the feathers of the 'magisterium' aka Pope Frank. So many pretzel-like contortions to make it fit a 'morality' rationale while side-stepping some fairly major concerns medically, scientifically and ethically from the perspective of robbing the individual of dignity, and livelihood, while forcing them to comply. (And this is quite a dance given all of the talk coming from PF about the 'disenfranchised'. So the folks that are 'disenfranchised' must be 'enfranchised(?!! - sounds awfully corporate to me) but the individuals who elect to exercise their free choice (please spare the 'unvaccinated' threat nonsense. At most they are a threat to themselves. It is quite evident scientifically now that both vaccinated and unvaccinated carry the same viral loads!) can be disenfranchised because they are exercising a God-given, and constitutionally protected, in the majority of First World countries, right ?! This is more difficult to fathom than 'transubstantiation', upon which we should be deliberating much more than this 'gain of function' human-concocted crime against humanity.

Proving, once again, that experts are not always right simply because they're experts. There is no "moral obligation" to accept something that isn't necessary (98% of US Covid patients recover) and has a real possibility of killing or crippling you for life. How much of a possibility? The medical community has deliberately and hopelessly muddled the data so accurate estimates can't be made. That …More

It keeps getting more & more difficult to find Bishops & Cardinals of whom we can say with confidence , "I know I can trust him"....one is Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano....another is Bishop Rene Gracida.
Does anyone have others they can recommend with full assurance???

Many physicians are pushing the WHO, CDC, CCP treatment protocol and killing patients instead of healing them! They have lost their ability to provide healthcare and have become executioners of the communist police state! Our Lady of Fatima save us! Viva Christo Rey! Saint Denis!

That is not a vaccine, that is not medicine, that is the evil imposition of the masters of the world.
We must imitate the first Christians who did not want to throw incense to idols. This life and work is not the most important thing, Mr Conservative.
