On Sunday, Francis held a meeting with representatives of various religions at the Hun Theatre in the mountainous area outside Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
He praised the ancient Mongolian capital, "which admirably housed within its walls places of worship belonging of different creeds" which he described as a "commendable harmony.”
On the same day, Francis presided at the first ever public Eucharist in Mongolia, and ended his homily with by rehabilitating the heretical French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (+1955) who promoted eugenics and wrote his "Mass on the World" in the interior of Mongolia 100 years ago.
The Holy Office censured Teilhard's works in 1962. Calling him an "often misunderstood" priest, Francis quoted Teilhard: “The Mass is always celebrated in some way on the altar of the world” [whatever that means…].
During the opening of a clinic on Monday, Francis called it a myth that the Church is active in "social promotion" in order to "proselytise."

Francis urges Buddhists, Muslims, and Shamans to promote their religions during event in Mongolia. And, Francis introduced himself as “a brother in faith to those who believe in Christ, and as a brother to all of you in the name of our shared religious quest and our membership in the one human family.”

De Chardin was a heretic and an apostate, and Bergoglio is not any different.

And perhaps incomprehensibly, Archbishop Sheen devoted a chapter of his 1967 book "Footprints in a Darkened Forest," to Chardin, saying that he was maligned and misunderstood. "It is very likely that within fifty years...Teilhard will appear like John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Avila as the spiritual genius of the twentieth century."

Archbishop Sheen, whom I do like for very many reasons, said that when he had his TV program, he learned the material well enough that he delivered the script to himself in Italian and French. He knew French.
And below is the Vatican's monitum against Chardin's works in 1962. Sheen should have known better.

And below is the Vatican's monitum against Chardin's works in 1962. Sheen should have known better.

"Several works of Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, some of which were posthumously published, are being edited and are gaining a good deal of success.

"Prescinding from a judgement about those points that concern the positive sciences, it is sufficiently clear that the above-mentioned works abound in such ambiguities and indeed even serious errors, as to offend Catholic doctrine.

"For this reason, the most eminent and most revered Fathers of the Holy Office exhort all Ordinaries as well as the superiors of Religious institutes, rectors of seminaries and presidents of universities, effectively to protect the minds, particularly of the youth, against the dangers presented by the works of Fr. Teilhard de Chardin and of his followers.
De Profundis
Teilhard: His writings on original sin, the nature of the soul, and the relationship between nature and the supernatural are difficult to reconcile with Catholic teaching.

Teilhard also spoke very explicitly about “the inequality of races” at a time when the Catholic Church was one of the few institutions that defended the idea of the equality of all people, regardless of race, at a time when eugenics and “race science” were in vogue.

These Buddhist leaders and monks deserve more respect than Francis. At least they protect and foster their traditions.
