PiusX: Preparing for New Bishops?

Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of PiusX, has asked his priests to prepare the faithful for upcoming episcopal consecrations.

NonPossumus-vcr.Blogspot.com (April 20) writes this, adding that it “cannot reveal the source of this information, but it is certain.”

At present, PiusX has two bishops who can fully carry out their duties, Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, based in Switzerland, and Bishop Bernard Fellay, based in the United States.

After the start of Francis' war against the Holy Mass, such a move would not be surprising.

A priestly order of diocesan rite or even a pontifical rite, actually only needs one bishop. Also, they more than likely will seek approval from Rome, as did Ab Lefebvre who was forced into a difficult situation but did not have the spirit of schism or rebellion.

I am inclined to think that Pope Francis having shown his management style in the last 10 years, will more than likely give his approval. It would accomplish two things. First, the gesture will make some believe that he is magnanimous and seeks the good of souls, second, it will confuse both traditionalists and progressives in the Church. Pope Francis loves doing this because it makes the different camps in the Church off guard and unsure of where they stand with him. For the progressives, such as the Fr. J. Martin types they will think just when they thought he was on their side and their man, that they now are insecure. And, traditionalists who thought they had their position with the pope understood will now be thrown off. It's a game that dictators like to play and an effective way of control over various factions.

Nice idea, brilliant. But in the end, being the evil man he is, I think Francis would side with the deviants and queers and impose the threat of excommunication on the SSPX if they go ahead....which I hope they do....adding at least 6 new young bishops to their swelling ranks.

The SSPX has experienced tremendous growth during Covid lock down as they refused to shut down their chapels and mandate people to wear masks, all of the things the Novus Ordo parishes were doing at the time. Many of their chapels have doubled in attendance.

Het wordt tijd dat Mgr. Lefebvre Zalig en Heilig wordt verklaard.

This statement/rumor is correct. This reality has been the works for some years now in the SSPX. The date however is not set. It may be a few years away yet. What exactly the motive behind it is, who knows. Perhaps to safeguard against the possibility of another world wide lockdown.

'Non Possumus' blog claims SSPX Superior General Fr. Davide Pagliarani has instructed his fellow-priests: "Begin to prepare the faithful for eventual episcopal consecrations"

@SonoftheChurch -"Oh no! If this is done without at least the tacit approval of the Vatican and some sort of “green light” (public or private) from the Holy Father, it could very well provoke the promulgation of an official declaration of Schism."

HAHAHAHAHA! You've got to be joking Buddy Man!! What would you call all the Germans and their departure from Catholic teachings, promotion of homos and Trans freaks, blessings for homo couples, promotion of lay-lead Masses and sermons, women priests, married priests, etc.? Not a word about that, huh??
First off, there is no "Holy Father". Francis has repudiated and rejected the title "Vicar of Christ". He actually did. So neither is he the "Vicar of Christ" deserving of obeisance from Catholics and also those faithful Catholic who love the SSPX and their leaders, nor is he deserving of the title "Holy Father". Francis has tacitly supported most of what the GERMAN radical schismatics stand for....and has said/done nothing to stop them.
So the SSPX is stepping forward to save the Church with new Bishops. We can't be loyal or obedient to a Pope who degrades, insults, and repudiates Catholic tradition and teachings, and who persecutes the Roman Rite Latin Mass every day. He and his people are genuinely evil, and no Pope has ever been less deserving of obedience and loyalty than Francis.
All good, faithful Catholics should support and applaude the coming consecration of new SSPX bishops.
And to the extent that leaves them in "schism" from the radical, liberal, pro-homo/trans anti-Catholic Vatican of Pope Francis and his advisors....it is right and just to do so.
And if there's any reaction from the Vatican, it will just show them for the hypocrits and deviants that they are.....doing nothing about Germany, but persecuting faithful Catholics of the SSPX trying to keep the Church alive.
Any protest coming from Francis....it's a bag of hot air. Who cares?

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Sounds like great news to me. You're losing every excuse to become Eastern orthodox!

@John Fritz Logan -Hey John! Actually, I wouln't become Greek Orthodox if the SSPX does this. At the very least, they need to consecrate 4, and perhaps 6 new bishops. This is because of their enormous growth, especially over the last 10 years of Francis, and the fact that Bishop Tissier de Mallerais is not well, and that Bishops Fellay and Gallareta are not getting any younger! This is because of their enormous growth, especially over the last 10 years of Francis, and the fact that Bishop Tissier de Mallerais is not well, and that Bishops Fellay and Gallareta are not getting any younger! Hard to believe they have been faithful Catholic bishops for 35 years!!. I think there were not much more than 200 SSPX priests back then, and 770 today!! There are also traditionalist branches of religious Orders (including 1 Carthusian monastery), affiliated to the SSPX. THey have close to 1,000 chapels, and close to 6-7 million or more faithful. Might not sound like much, but consider that Orders like the Jesuits and Franciscans and Salesians have lost between 40-65% of their membership in the last 55+ years of Vatican II, and some rad liberal Orders of femminist nuns have lost 80% of their pre-Vatican II membership. Mass attendance at SSPX Chapels is about 80%, compared to Novus Ordo Mass attendance down in some countries to 1-2% 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 🤪 I'd side with the SSPX over Jorge Mario Bergoglio/aka Pope Francis and homo company any day !

Not sure I'd be raising anything Williamson or the Novus Ordo Watch up to level of "rumor." "imagination" may be a better word.

His Holy Church is in eclipse. The Society is merely keeping the lights lit.

Fr Gleize of the Society has defined the conditions that must be fulfilled before the SSPX enters in to so-called "full communion" with Rome. There is virtually no chance of those conditions ever even starting to be fulfilled. You have beed sadly misled if you think otherwise. Fr. I hope the SSPX consecrates 6 new bishops.....they'll need them, that's how much they have grown.

Wow!
Kenjiro M. Yoshimori
Yes, WOW !! In the best sense of course. Cheers for the SSPX 😊 👏 👏 🙏
