British pro-lifer Isabel Vaughan-Spruce was arrested again on March 6 for simply standing outside an abortion clinic.
Only last month, she was acquitted of charges related to "praying" outside an abortion facility.
The video below shows two male police officers asking Vaughan-Spruce to “step outside the exclusion zone” of an abortion facility in Birmingham, England.
She replies, “I’m not protesting, I’m not engaging in any of the activities prohibited.”
Police, “But you’ve said you’re engaging in prayer, which is the offence.”
“Silent prayer,” Vaughan-Spruce clarified.
“No, but you’re still engaging in prayer. It is an offence,” the officer reiterated. He then asked Vaughan-Spruce if she would rather be “arrested” than “step outside the exclusion zone.”
She asked if those were the only two alternatives and he affirmed. ADF, a group of lawyers, stated that police "wrongly claimed" that the repression zones around abortion clinics banned Isabel from simply standing nearby. #newsQowkxymmgq …More
