"Ban the drumstick! Eat beef kebabs instead." -Signed the Revolutionary Council of Chickens of America. Such a pawltry affair...oops, auto-spell... paltry affair...
this was the state of democracy in 1888 France, and things have not improved since then; they have only worsened." Source:Bersone Clotilde - L'élue du dragon: "The autobiography of a high-ranking member of a powerful secret society who repented and converted to Catholicism." "...Thus, the legislative elections (August-September 1881) and the partial renewal of the Senate on January 8, 1882, marked, for the first time, despite the apparent triumph of the Republicans, a setback and almost a rout for the occult leadership of Illuminism, if not for the lower Masonry of the Grand Lodge and the Grand Orient. Many candidates supported by the Lodge, at least to hold the place of more feared adversaries, were left behind or suffered, as senatorial or deputy candidates, significant losses of votes that shook their position. And, no doubt, the composition of the two Chambers at that time makes it clear enough that Masonry still had enough secret supporters in both camps to explain how, despite …More
There were several reasons. (1) To Spread Error. This should be the most obvious reason — public prayer as a tool for heretical propaganda. Few laymen will bother to wade through a lengthy theological tome, no matter how well written it may be. To corrupt the Catholic faith in the heart of the average man, you have to reach him on Sunday in church, so you use a new form of public prayer to spread your new ideas. It must therefore be in a language the average man can understand, oth erwise he will still believe as he did before. (2) To Manipulate Translations. The next step is manipulating translations to promote heretical ideas. In the sixteenth century, Tyndale’s English translation of the Bible slyly attacked Catholic teachings on the priesthood, the Church, grace, confession and the veneration of images: thus, for priest, Tyndale’s translation had elder, for church, congregation', for grace, favor, for confess, acknowledge; for idols, images, and so on Similarly, Luther twisted the …More
Heresy and the Vernacular. Abandoning Latin for the vernacular is historically linked to heresy. “As Pater noster did build the Churches,” said a Catholic apologist during the persecutions in England, “Our Father did pull them down.” (cited in Work of Human Hands, quoting Liturgical Discourse of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, 1670, 52).
The promises of advocates for the vernacular have been shown to.be garbage. Instead of increased conversions and vocations to the priesthood and religious life, the opposite has happened.
As a fellow lover of the Latin mass, I must, nonetheless, contend that it is the both the rationale for the vernacular as well as the stark changes in wording and meaning which are fueled by, and thus inherently also, heresy. At least one of the reasons for the changes post-Vatican II is the deluded heretical notion of 'achieving' ecumenism, no matter the cost (!!), on the part of too many foolish 'shepherds'.
In this post, the errors of the Opus are thoroughly and carefully exposed. This is not about former members complaining. It is a philosophical and theological expose. I have previously shared this information in a post by the user jamacor, but it was censored. Having grown up inside the Opus cult, I am familiar with their operations. They are often ignorant in matters of faith and religion (which is part of their tactic) and are discouraged from engaging in any debate.
Yes, and I think people underestimate the role they had in the VII Council. As Father Hesse used to say, they are the brains and muscles of the VII Church.
