We are a group of committed Catholic lay people and clergy who came together in 2021 after one too many instances of persecution of holy, traditional, and orthodox priests. The Coalition For Cancelled Priests (CFCP) is dedicated to spiritually and materially supporting faithful priests who seek to return to active ministry after being unjustly canceled by their bishops. CFCP is lay-driven and relies upon prayer, fasting, and actions by an array of contributors who rigorously defend these priests and fight back against errant bishops. Under the Mantle of Our Blessed Mother, CFCP invokes its co-patrons, St John the Baptist, St Joseph Terror of Demons, and St Athanasius in this spiritual battle against evil machinations which are rampant in the United States, and around the world. CFCP is engaged through the following means: Awareness: Providing a platform for the laity to understand the importance of what is at stake and how to get involved as good priests are canceled. Advocacy: Maintaining a safe space where such priests are protected to the extent possible from persecution and offering fraternity to share their stories and inspire their brothers to pick up the fight. Action: Mobilizing the laity to support canceled priests through prayer, fasting, and financial support. www.canceledpriests.org
Today July 1st, 2023, Francis took one of the most revolutionary steps so far in his decade-long novelty-studded pontificate. He has appointed his fellow-Argentinian, Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernández, the main theologian behind Amoris Laetitia, as the new Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Fernández has a long track record of promoting the modernist idea of the evolution of doctrine, claiming (wrongly) that the magisterium has contradicted itself on religious liberty and slavery, and that this sets a precedent for further evolution on … you guessed it, sexual morality. In an essay he promoted the sophistry that while indeed divorced and remarried Catholics who remain sexually active are in an "objective state of mortal sin", they can nevertheless sometimes be absolved in the confessional and receive sanctifying grace without a firm purpose of amendment, and so receive Communion. How does Fernández try to justify this position? Well, the Catholic doctrine that …More

Wed Jan 4, 2023 - 9:41 am ESTWed Jan 4, 2023 - 9:43 am EST WITTICHENAU, Germany (LifeSiteNews) – A Benedictine priest in Germany was publicly condemned and punished by his abbot and the local bishop for preaching against gender ideology and the heterodox Synodal Way and for defending the traditional family in his Christmas homily. The abbot of the Benedictine Tholey Abbey, Mauritius Choriol OSB, forbade Father Joachim Wernersbach OSB from performing pastoral activities in the area surrounding Tholey Abbey and announced that the Abbey will commission “an ecclesiastical investigation with an analysis of the sermon text and intercession prayers,” according to katholisch.de. In his Christmas Eve sermon, which was uploaded on YouTube but later removed, Wernersbach talked about abortion, gender ideology, the traditional family, and the Synodal Way from a faithful Catholic perspective. “There is much about Christmas that we can derive from for our time today,” Wernersbach said. “Jesus was …
