Bishop Marian Eleganti wrote to Pope Leo XIV about widespread homosexuality among priests and its significance in the abuse crisis in the Church. He mentioned this on Marian-Eleganti.ch on April 24: "All church studies on abuse show a disproportionately high number of male victims. It does little good to turn a blind eye to this." He also drew attention to the numerous cases of sexual abuse occurring outside the Church, emphasising that society is primarily focused on and scandalised by those within the clergy. #newsZltfzndgfn
The six remaining cloistered Carmelite nuns in Jonquières, France, are closing their historic community, ending a 400-year legacy of prayer ... and martyrdom.
Among Benedictines, the Roman Rite and the Novus Ordo coexist very peacefully side by side, said Abbot Primate Jeremias Schröder, a German Benedictine, in an interview with KNA on 30 April. Throughout the order, there are around ten abbeys that celebrate the old rite, mostly in France. The majority belong to the Congregation of Solesmes. Fontgombault Abbey was the first of a group of monasteries that celebrate according to the old rite and they are fully integrated into the Solesmes congregation. Most monasteries in that congregation use the Novus Ordo. In addition, there is Le Barroux Abbey and its daughter foundations, which were initially oriented towards the Lefebvrist movement. Following the episcopal consecrations in 1988, the monastery returned to full communion with Rome is now under the authority of Abbot Schröder. He also mentioned the community in Norcia, Italy (pictured). Novus Ordo in Fontgombault Abbot Schröder summarised: "We all treat one another with respect. As Abbot …More
Wed Apr 29, 2026 - 2:56 pm EDT (LifeSiteNews) — There is a particular kind of sentence that does not require embellishment. It does not need adjectives. It does not benefit from rhetorical inflation. It simply needs to be stated plainly – and then be allowed to do its work: Seventeen babies were born alive in Alberta following labor-induced late-term abortions in 2025 and left to die. That’s it. That’s the sentence. Seventeen. Seventeen babies. Seventeen times. In Alberta. In 2025. Born alive and then? No life-sustaining intervention. No automatic presumption in favor of care. No clear, system-wide requirement that birth triggers a clinical reset. Instead, within the system administered by Alberta Health Services, the response is shaped in advance: a non-interventional pathway, established before the child is even born, and carried through after the child is. This is not a failure of the system; it is how the system is designed to function. If that sounds implausible, it is only …
30.04.2026 SSPX LAITY GET INTO ACTION TRADS. IT’S TIME TO START MOVING. FILE PETITIONS, USE THE COLOURED GRAPHICS. YOU HAVE A WHOLE NEW BODY OF KNOWLEDGE WHICH SUPPORTS TRADITION. USE IT. Cardinals Fernandez, Roche, Cupich and others must become conservative now with Vatican Council II being rational, to avoid schism. The tables have changed. Lay people who go for the Latin Mass at the SSPX chapels it is time to get smart. Cardinal Fernandez plans to excommunicate Catholic families too. Your asset is the Catholic Faith, which Fernandez does not have. You have to bring out the Catholic Faith before him in a secular and canonical sense, until it ‘sinks in’. Use the L.A DIAGRAMS/GRAPHICS to illustrate your points. Show how Cardinal Fernandez is irrational and not rational, dishonest and not honest, on Vatican Council II, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Catechism of Pope Pius X, the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston etc. Cardinal Fernandez is a Catholic …More
On April 28, the German bishops published a new ‘Ratio Nationalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis’, a 203-page document reforming priestly formation in Germany. It replaces the previous 111-page guidelines from 2003. Approved by the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Clergy on March 11, the new norms are binding for Germany’s 27 dioceses. Long-Term Decline The reform comes amid a long-term collapse in priestly vocations. Germany ordained 557 priests in 1962 and 303 in 1970. By 2015, that number had fallen to 58, and by 2025 to just 25, the lowest figure on record. At the same time, the number of lay pastoral workers increased from roughly 5,200 in 1990 to 7,516 in 2021, and include today transvestites. Psychological Screening The new Ratio includes expanded sections on psychology, abuse prevention, sexuality, synodality, and pastoral practice. It mandates psychological screening for candidates and places new emphasis on emotional maturity, boundaries, and abuse prevention. The document explicitly …More
"Extremely DIRE consequences!" Putin just issued a major warning to Trump on Iran Putin issued an extreme warning to Trump during a two-hour call as the US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz drives oil to new highs, crushes global food supply, and fractures alliances. "Therefore, let my friends see to it that my words reach my enemies, so that they, perhaps, convert themselves and feel sorrow and remorse for their sins, when their peril and my judgment are made known to them. Otherwise, the city will be judged so severely that, just as a wall is torn down without leaving stone upon stone, so that not even two stones join to each other in the foundation, so shall it be with the city, that is, with the world."
[Saint Bridget of Sweden/ Heliga Birgitta; XIV Century AD: aged 69-70; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Widow, Mystic; Spiritual Writer; Founder; Patroness of Europe] Chapter 56 The words in which God explains the nearest preceding chapter, and about the judgment that he makes against such people, and about how God for a while endures the evil for the sake of the good. “I told you before that the sword of my Church is thrown away and that a sack of money has been put in its place, which is open at one end. The other end is so deep, that whatever one puts into it never reaches the bottom, and so the sack never gets filled. This sack is greed, which exceeds all measures and now has become so powerful that the Lord is scorned and nothing is desired but money and the selfish will of man. But I am like a lord who is both father and judge. When he shall go forth and judge, the bystanders say to him: ‘Lord, proceed quickly and make your judgment!’ The Lord answers them: ‘Wait a little …More
"The judges shall burn in the hottest fire. There is no fire hotter than the one that is fed with some fat. These judges were fat, since they had more opportunities of fulfilling their lust and will than others; they surpassed others in honor and temporal abundance, and abounded more in malice and unrighteousness. Therefore, they will burn in the hottest pan, that is, in the torments of hell!"
“So, why did you become Catholic?” a fellow graduate student asked me one day, with a hint of flirtation in her voice. I smiled and used John Henry Newman’s famous line that the answer was long and couldn’t be given “between the fish and the soup.” “Well,” she replied, “we’re not having fish.” She had a point. I tried to explain how I had been catechized by evangelicals, fell in love with high church Anglicanism, learned more about the Church’s history and tradition, experienced the beauty of the Eucharist, and then come to the conclusion that these things were most fully lived and believed in the Catholic Church. Mine was an intellectual conversion that would grow deeper as I lived and worked with devout Catholics over the years that followed. It also very much fit a type. Though I only partially knew it at the time, I was following a trail blazed by John Henry Newman in the nineteenth century and trod by thousands of others. Recent news stories have made much of increased interest …
Pro-homosexual Cardinal Tucho Fernández - who is a soft porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith - is preparing for clerics who will leave the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X after the episcopal consecration in Écône on 1 July. According to Nico Spuntoni, Leo XIV is planning an arrangement for those clerics from the Priestly Fraternity who do not intend to remain in it following a further break with Rome. Leo XIV will treat the Priestly Fraternity as schismatics and impose penalties. Spuntoni did not find out whether the planned excommunication would apply only to the bishops or to other clerics as well. #newsAxctfujyym
In other words, Tucho and Prevost expect the priests of the Fraternity to apostatize and join their rebellion—in order to seize their financial assets and physical infrastructure. For these fraudsters are not at all concerned with the salvation of souls.
“The bishops do, under the guise of a gift of the church, what advances the will of the devil.” – Tyconius, Commentary on the Apocalypse, 4th century “[T]he Antichrist belongs to the Church, grows in it and with it until the great 'discessio,' which initiates the final 'revelatio.'” – Joseph Ratzinger, Observations on Tyconius’ Concept of the Church , 1956 Pope Benedict XVI led the way to the necessary "decessio" - the SSPX will open the doors wide to such -- the faithful will follow -- this will be the fulfillment of many prophecies -
According to a report from the National Post, Dr. Karine Katchadourian – one of the first doctors in Canada to provide hormones to trans-identifying youth – stated at a virtual lecture for the University of Alberta in February that she now believes the “majority of youth” should not be medicalized. Khatchadourian is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Ottawa as well as a pediatric endocrinologist who works at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. She began providing hormones to minors with gender dysphoria in 2014 and, according to the National Post, “some 250 to 300 gender-distressed children and teens have been under her care over the years.” According to the National Post’ssummary of the lecture: The field is in a highly consequential grey zone with contradictory findings at best, the Ottawa doctor told a virtual audience. The evidence doesn’t allow doctors to say with confidence whether puberty suppression has psychological benefits or not and …

Vatican recommends Catholic families in crisis compost and a rain gauge: The Vatican has published on August 27 the handbook, Integral Ecology in the Life of the Family, urging Catholic families to adopt environmentally focused practices such as composting, collecting rainwater, and monitoring rainfall as part of an “ecological conversion.” Issued jointly by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, the text presents care for creation and sustainable living as integral to Christian family life and holiness.
"Because you cannot pass this mortal life without pain, and in Me, the Father, there can be no pain, but in Him there can be pain, and therefore of Him did I make for you a Bridge. No one can come to Me except by Him, as He told you in the words : * No one can come to the Father except by Me? " Now thou hast seen to what way thou shouldest keep, and how, namely with perseverance, otherwise thou shalt not drink, for perseverance receives the crown of glory and victory in the life everlasting."
[Saint Catherine of Siena /Caterina di Benincasa/; XIV-XV Century AD; Siena, Republic of Siena/Rome, Papal States; aged 33; Spiritual Writer; Mystic; Virgin; Doctor of the Church] “How if the three aforesaid powers are not united, there cannot be perseverance, without which no man arrives at his end. " I have explained to thee the figure of the three steps, in general, as the three powers of the soul, and no one who wishes to pass by the Bridge and doctrine of My Truth can mount one without the other, and the soul cannot persevere except by the union of her three powers. Of which I told thee above, when thou askedst Me, how the voyagers could come out of the river. There are two goals, and, for the attainment of either, perseverance is needful—they are vice and virtue. If thou desire to arrive at life, thou must persevere in virtue, and if thou would have eternal death, thou must persevere in vice. Thus it is with perseverance that they who want life arrive at Me who am Life, and with …More

Yesterday, the liturgy celebrated the memorial of St. Catherine of Siena, a Doctor of the Church. She was a Dominican and papal counsellor. We post here her insightful reflection of the day from the Magnificat. It's titled, "His Love Enlightens." True and perfect love is so agreeable, so pleasant and sweet, that no bitterness can detract from its sweetness. Nor can bitterness disturb it. Even more, it is spiritually strengthening, because it brings us closer to our Creator. And in him we taste the sweetness of his love and are convinced in lively faith that whatever God gives and permits us is for our good and to make us holy. On what evidence? On the evidence of Christ’s blood, which lets us see by the light of faith—for if he had wanted anything less than our good, God would never have given us such a Redeemer as was the Word, his Son, and the Son would never have given his life as he did, with such blazing love, hammering out oursins on his own body! He fills us with strength and …
