Canadian Lobbyists Push for Government to Begin Euthanizing 12-Year-Olds - Slay News

Canada’s euthanasia regime, already the fastest-expanding in the world, is now facing a new and explosive demand for the government to extend state-sanctioned “assisted suicide” to children.
Less than a decade after Canada legalized Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), what began in 2016 as a narrow program reserved for adults whose natural deaths were “reasonably foreseeable” has ballooned into one of the broadest euthanasia systems on the planet.
Chronic illness, disability, and even mental health conditions have all been added to the eligibility list, driving MAiD deaths to unprecedented levels.
Now, advocacy groups are openly pressuring the federal government to allow minors, including those as young as 12 years old, to qualify for doctor-administered euthanasia.

Though off topic, calling a 12-year-old a "mature minor" forebodes a lowering of the age of consent. The goal of MAP pervs.

Peter Kwasniewski, High Church modernism and Occultism. Part I

Dr. Peter Kwasniewski is a well-known North American writer on traditional Catholic liturgy. But he is also implacably committed to an esoteric religiosity that most traditional Catholics would be horrified by. Indeed twenty-five years ago, the esoteric, occultist version of traditional Catholicism that he and his network of writers have established barely existed. Yet traditional Catholicism was alive and well then, and a quarter of a century before that.
Esoteric, “High Church modernism” has not come from the traditionalist priests or faithful, but from networks of publishers like Angelico Press, who deliberately marketed occultist works alongside the most orthodox Catholic books in order to enter a “market” and proselytise it. It is only fair to people dismayed by the post-Vatican II crisis in the Church to inform them of how, under cover of opposition to one kind of change, an even more radical change is introduced.
It’s wrong to market occultism and heterodoxy under the banner …

Profile
Spiritual student of Saint Dionysius of Paris. Gatianus brought Christianity to Tours, France in the 4th century, founded the diocese and served as the its first bishop. However, his good work faded after his death. When Saint Martin arrived in Tours, he found that there were no Christians, but local lore spoke much about Gatianus, the man who brought the Gospel that the people no longer understood. Martin found Gatianus’ burial site, and always venerated his predecessor.
Pious legend says that Gatianus was one of the shepherds to whom the angels appeared at Jesus’ birth, but that is, after all, only a pious legend.

Next Archbishop of New York Is Deeply Francis' Man

Monsignor Ronald Hicks - Bishop of Joliet and soon to become the new Archbishop of New York - first met Pope Francis on 29 June 2015.
After Francis’s death, he wrote about that meeting on Diocoliet.org on 5 May. Back then, he was standing in Saint Peter’s Basilica with Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich.
Cupich had been installed as Archbishop of Chicago in November 2014. In January 2015, he appointed Rev. Hicks as his Vicar General and in 2018 his auxiliary bishop.
“Now Is Your Chance”
In June 2015, Archbishop Cupich asked his Vicar General in the Basilica, “Have you ever met the Pope?”
When Hicks replied, “No,” Cupich grasped his arm and said with a smile, “Well, now is your chance.”
He led Hicks briskly toward Pope Francis and introduced him in Italian, saying, “Holy Father, this is Ron Hicks, my Vicar General, and he speaks Spanish.” Francis turned to Hicks and began speaking in Spanish.
Hicks recalls: “From that moment forward, whenever we encountered one another, we spoke …More

Of course they don't speak ill of Bergoglio; either they're on his side or they're cowards and keep quiet about his heresies.

Bishop Hicks is not a sychophantic type of personality, he is his own man. You will find that out. Here in Joliet we've seen a reasonable man. When some bishops were quick to eliminate the Latin Mass such was not the case with Bishop Hicks. Things have not changed on that front. He supports parishes and priests instead of undermining them as in other places. He is a man of prudence and caution who loves his Catholic faith. New York will thrive under his guidance.

‘On Loving God’ By St. Bernard of Clairvaux - Chapter III. ‘What greater incentives Christians have…’ – pages 4-5

[St. Bernard of Clairvaux – XI-XII Century AD; Burgundy, Kingdom of France/Clairvaux, Kingdom of France; (aged 62-63); Abbot; Mystic; Leader; co-founder of the Knights Templar; Last of the Fathers; Doctor Mellifluus]
Chapter III. What greater incentives Christians have, more than the heathen, to love God
The faithful know how much need they have of Jesus and Him crucified; but though they wonder and rejoice at the ineffable love made manifest in Him, they are not daunted at having no more than their own poor souls to give in return for such great and condescending charity. They love all the more, because they know themselves to be loved so exceedingly; but to whom little is given the same loveth little (Luke 7.47).
Neither Jew nor pagan feels the pangs of love as doth the Church, which saith, 'Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples; for I am sick of love' (Cant. 2.5). She beholds King Solomon, with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals; she sees …More

"'The memorial of Thine abundant kindness shall be showed' (Ps. 145.7), refers doubtless to those of whom the Psalmist had said just before: 'One generation shall praise Thy works unto another and declare Thy power' (Ps. 145.4). Among us on the earth there is His memory; but in the Kingdom of heaven His very Presence. That Presence is the joy of those who have already attained to beatitude; the memory is the comfort of us who are still wayfarers, journeying towards the Fatherland."
