This year, in a break with past tradition, it was forbidden to celebrate Mass in the Olympic Village, the Polish Olympics chaplain, Father Edward Pleń, told Tysol.pl (August 14).
He has been a chaplain for Polish athletes for 22 years. Until this summer it was always possible to celebrate Mass, but with restrictions during the Covid hysteria in Tokyo and Beijing.
In Paris, Father Plén wanted to determine the times of the Masses in advance, but "the possibility of celebrating the Eucharist was blocked."
He was told that "only prayer" was allowed: "I don't know who came up with this absurdity."
And: "The Mass is the most beautiful prayer, but they insisted. I couldn't understand it and I still can't".

There is nothing to understand about blocking the Mass except understanding the decision is Catholic hatred and disdain in action.

It’s time to again ban the olympics as the Romans did because they were gay, pagan, and hedonistic events that are incompatible with our Christian society. The athletes have plenty of venues to display their talents without the olympics.

Perhaps if he explained that he would be saying the great ecumenical Mass which is to prepare for Satan's one world religion and the kingdom of antichrist, they would have relented. You see, it’s all how you market it.

The Athletes themselves should have demanded and INSISTED upon it!!! Especially after the satanic blasphemy that was put on display during the Official Opening Ceremonies. Every Catholic Athlete present and on site from every nation represented at the Games should have risen up in protest against such unspeakable and egregious discrimination. I bet you Islamic prayers led by Imams 5 times a day …More

Don’t expect the Vatican to oppose this discriminatory decision. We must be inclusive even it means that Christians will be excluded.
