Permanent Synod: Francis Initiates Three Years of "Implementation Phase"
It will culminate in an "ecclesial assembly" to be held at the Vatican in October 2028 [if by then the Vatican still has money to pay for such useless events].
Cardinal Mario Grech, head of the synod secretariat, claimed in a March 15 letter that the "process of accompaniment" [= more meaningless meetings] will not be a new synod. He uses one buzzword after another to talk about "exchange and dialogue within the Church", "a reception process", but also "decision-making".

May 2025: Publication of Support Document for the implementation phase
June 2025 – December 2026: Implementation in local Churches
October 2025: Jubilee of synodal teams
First half of 2027: Evaluation Assemblies in Dioceses
Second half of 2027: Evaluation Assemblies in national and international Episcopal Conferences
First half of 2028: Continental evaluation Assemblies;
June 2028: Publication of the Instrumentum laboris for the works of the ecclesial Assembly in October 2028;
October 2028: Ecclesial Assembly in the Vatican
