Conservative Arlington Bishop Michael Burbidge is taking out 13 (!) locations where the Roman Mass is celebrated.
In a July 29 letter, he decrees that 8 of the 21 current locations throughout Arlington Diocese will have the Roman Mass available for the approximately "2.5% of local, Mass-attending Catholics who prefer this liturgical form” - as if the Church's liturgy were a "preference."
The measures take effect September 8.
After having declared war on the best of the Catholics, a hypocritical Burbidge asks the Holy Spirit to increase his gifts of "unity" and "peace" within the universal Church and within his diocese.

Bishop Burbidge of Arlington has just restricted the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass, according to new documents released. Only 8 parishes (of the 21 currently offering the TLM) will be permitted to continue.

Burbidge is a member in good standing of the Modernist pseudo-church.

If just one bishop had the fortitude and decency to stand up publicly, to denounce the abuses committed against TLM Catholics and to invoke Canon 87, it would make a huge difference.

Step by step, they try to destroy the Church that Christ instituted. They will fail.

In my neck of the woods, Bp. Tobin in Providence has retained the status quo as it was before TC. In Boston, Cardinal O’Malley has pretty much done the same. He is set to be replaced any time, and has clearly been supplanted by Cupich as Bergoglio’s “man” in the USA. Tobin is about 74 now, and one would imagine his being replaced at the earliest opportunity. Things are not looking good in New …More

No FSSP parishes have been suppressed yet, but I fear that is tge next shoe to drop.

They’re also taking names in Rome of people who publicly defend the TLM. This papacy is extremely vindictive.

Fr Paul Scalia, a senior adviser to Bishop Burbidge, should make his position clear regarding the brutal suppression of the Mass
