On the occasion of his visit to the Vatican on 29 October, the press agencies reported that Joe Biden had spoken about the content of the meeting, and that Francis had described him as "a good Catholic", inviting him to "continue to receive Communion". It is puzzling that, to date, no clarifying comment has come from the Vatican Press Office. This suggests that Joe Biden's words are true, and that Bergoglio did indeed say them.
Even if Biden's remarks correspond perfectly to the inappropriate outbursts of Jorge Mario Bergoglio - who called [Emma Bonino] a notorious radical abortionist a "great Italian" - it is clear that such statements are an unprecedented scandal, because they do not condemn the positions of a political figure in favour of abortion. They disavow the unchanging position of the Church's Magisterium and sound like a blatant invitation to commit sacrilege and to profane the Most Holy Eucharist by receiving it in a state of public and manifest sin.

Thank God ,for the courageous Archbishop Vigano.

Your Excellency, please be SILENT. You do not and cannot speak for the whole Church. Unto you was not given the custodianship of Christ’s Flock throughout the world. Only the Bishop of Rome has the charism to teach the universal Church, not you. You do not wield the moral power of the Apostolic See, nor it’s invincibility and infallibility. That, praise be unto the Lord, has been committed into the hands, by the unction of the Holy Ghost, of Pope Francis. Your mad, fever-raving, dog-rabid, politically driven, seditious rantings and illogical, inane chatter only brings disorder and contention among the brethren, and prove your utter hatred of Saint Peter’s Successor - and thus, your alienation from Holy Mother Church herself. You cannot truthfully claim to love the Church and, at the same time, hate and besmirch her Father. BE SILENT.

This hellish and irrational war against Pope Francis must cease. Authentic Catholics (especially those who claim to espouse Tradition) do not denigrate and demean the Vicar of Christ on Earth. All who do so are drinkers of Luther’s poison as tools and puppets of freemasonry, and thus, fall under the fierce wrath of Our Lady. Regardless of whether or not you agree with all that he does or says, the immutable fact remains: while he yet lives and sits upon the papal Throne, Pope Francis IS PETER with full, immediate and unabridged authority from Christ Himself with the power to bind and loose on earth and in Heaven, reigning as Supreme Pontiff over the whole Church; judging ALL and being judged by NONE. And we as Catholics MUST love him and pray for him in affectionate submission and faithful obedience.

Furthermore, the Holy Father has spoken clearly, openly, unambiguously and FORCEFULLY about the slaughter of innocent babies in their mother’s womb; and has affirmed the Church’s unchangeable teaching regarding this monstrous and bloody act on several occasions during his reign. Calling it “murder” and comparing it to an assassination by a hitman. He could not BE more perfectly clear about where he stands.

@SonoftheChurch. Why don't you stop telling an esteemed Prelate to be silent? Who do you think you are? Take your own advice. Then, spend some time reading Canon Law, specifically Canon 212, which states the following:

@SonoftheChurch. Why don't you stop telling an esteemed Prelate to be silent? Who do you think you are? Take your own advice. Then, spend some time reading Canon Law, specifically Canon 212, which states the following:

Canon 212

§1. Conscious of their own responsibility, the Christian faithful are bound to follow with Christian obedience those things which the sacred pastors, inasmuch as they represent Christ, declare as teachers of the faith or establish as rulers of the Church.

§2. The Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires.

§3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.

I'd say Vigano has more "competence" to challenge Bergoglio than you do to challenge Vigano. Read the words above carefully. Vigano has "the duty" to correct false teaching and scandal. We all have that duty.

Either you are blind or are willingly ignorant of the very Canon Law you cite; or perhaps in your mountainous hypocrisy you FAILED to read this part of the edict: “with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.”

Either you are blind or are willingly ignorant of the very Canon Law you cite; or perhaps in your mountainous hypocrisy you FAILED to read this part of the edict: “with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.”

The legislation you cite makes it plain that such personal “opinions” one may have and wish to share must be done in REVERENCE by those who have the proper and appropriate competencies to do so. You do not, nor does the “esteemed” Prelate, or any other Prelate for that matter, have the right to disrespect and demean the Successor of Saint Peter for any cause whatsoever. Not even when pointing out a legitimate error or mistake of the Pontiff, which the Archbishop fails utterly to do.

His drivel has nothing whatsoever to do with any “duty to correct false teaching and scandal” that he assumes is his to exercise. His madness is a DIRECT and personal attack against the Holy Father, and is a work of Satan to pull down the reign of the one who sits on the Apostolic Throne. And all who support him in his berating of Christ’s Vicar on Earth are demonic minions of hell, fulfilling the dream of the apostate Luther and those freemasons who hate the Holy Father and the divinely-given power of the Papacy - the very rock upon which the Church is built, and the tangible expression of her unity. Every true Catholic and adherent of the Faith who loves Holy Mother Church and is devoted to Our Lady knows that.

Of course the pure irony of your comment, which you clearly failed to see or comprehend, is the fact that MY comment is an actual fulfillment and embodiment of Canon 212, and my statement - and the dire need for it - is exactly why that particular law exists.

Like I said, His Excellency needs to BE SILENT.

"Why don't you stop telling an esteemed Prelate to be silent?"

So if SonoftheChurch desires Abp. Vigano to be silent, then he is within his rights to communicate that desire according to the Canon law you cited. ;-)

Likewise, when SonoftheChurch states of Abp. Vigano, "You do not and cannot speak for the whole Church." a layperson doing so is supported by Canon 212.3:

"they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful."

...which is what SonoftheChurch is doing in full accordance with Canon Law.

"Read the words above carefully. Vigano has "the duty" to correct false teaching and scandal. We all have that duty."

Not supported by the Canon Law you cited which doesn't mandate any such duty "to correct false teachings and scandal"..

We have a right, even at times the duty to manifest our "opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church". That is not, however, a duty to correct the opinions of others regarding false teachings or scandal or anything else. Fruther, Canon Law does not say we always have that duty... "at times" is not "all times".

Next time, you would do well to take your own advice about a careful reading. The Canon Law you cited just blew up in your face.

I would challenge anyone to prove to me how Bergoglio’s position on abortion is any different than that of Biden, Ted Kennedy, or Mario Cuomo. They all believed abortion to be monstrous, but were even more convinced it should be legal.

Recall his affection and public praise for the abortionist and euthanasia enthusiast Emma Bonino, whom he termed "One of Italy's forgotten greats.

If you're acting like Francis has any authentic, deeply-rooted conviction on the abortion issue beyond his Peronistic platitudes, look to what he's actually done, not what he says to people who want to hear it.
