During his Saturday visit to Fatima, Pope Francis did not kneel nor genuflect during the liturgies. He abstained from kneeling at the tombs of the two seers Francisco and Jacinta, in front of the statue of Our Lady, at the consecration, and during the Eucharistic adoration although a kneeler was placed in front of him.
Health issues cannot be the reason for Francis' behaviour as he kneels when washing the feet of migrants, prisoners or transvestites on Holy Thursday.

What is internal worship?
Internal worship is the honor which is given to God with the faculties of the soul alone, that is with the intellect and the will.
What is external worship?
External worship is the homage that is given to God by means of outward acts and of sensible objects.
Is it not enough internally to adore God with the heart alone?
No, it is not enough internally to adore God with the heart alone; we must also adore Him externally with both soul and body, because He is the Creator and absolute Lord of both.
Can there be external worship without internal worship?
No, in no way can there be external worship without internal, because unless external worship is accompanied by internal, it is destitute of life, of merit, and of efficacy, like a body without a soul.

He might have health problems (although he really knellt before the "immigrants" and he climbed into the papamobile like a youngster). But he should tell the others to kneel during the "adoration", he himself remaining in deep bow. This doesn't strain the hips that much...

As Bergoglio is "physically disabled" to exercise the Petrine ministry, he Must RESIGN and devote himself to the work of a lay brother and follow the "brave" and "revolutionary" example of the "humble" Pope Benedict XVI and we would already have "two grandpas at home"

Either doesn't believe in the real presence or he thinks he is an equal to God and there is no need to kneel. Either one is horrible.

I wish some journalist on the plane wd ask, "Holy Father, why do you never kneel or genuflect before the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar?"

In 2015, we can see that he clearly has a problem kneeling. I would guess he has arthritis in one or both hips (and/or knees) which has deteriorated further in the past 2 years. He does make exceptions (when there are cameras present) and likely has assistance for this kind of photo op. It is doubtful that he can kneel down on his own without assistance. Being obese doesn't help his condition.
