Vatican Joins #deleteFacebook - Takes Over Gloria.tv

The Vatican has joined the international campaign #deleteFacebook on Easter Sunday.

Pope Francis wrote on Twitter (April 1) that he wants to stop feeding US spy services and intends to develop all Vatican media in-house, “We will carefully implement our own social network in order to protect our users’ privacy.”

According to high ranking sources, a consulting firm hired by the Vatican told Francis that his expensive Vatican media reform has failed.

The firm pointed out that VaticanNews is basically the same old Vatican Radio webpage, only with a different label.

The consulting firm advised Francis to replace VaticanNews with a global Catholic Social Network. Since it does not have innovative engineers, the Vatican should buy a startup.

According to unconfirmed rumors, Francis has already made an offer to the only worldwide Catholic social network Gloria.tv.

The exact terms are not known yet. It should create a win-win situation for both parties.
