I always find it interesting that Sedevacantists claim that all of Rome has lost the faith and all the concillior popes and bishops are illegitimate, and that the Novus Ordo is invalid etc, etc. But, then they talk endlessly about the pope's, bishops and liturgy. I don't think that the Masons or Scientologists are legitimate forms of religion, and therefore waste my day spending hour and hours …More

The reason for this attitude is, however, quite obvious: Catholics know that the Freemasons are their enemies and that Scientology is a nefarious sect - it is not necessary to warn them about this - while the majority of Catholics believe that the conciliar Popes are the legitimate vicars of Jesus Christ and can be trusted...

Reflecting upon these quotes is the primary reason for me recently having abandoned my former dogmatic anti-sedevacantist position, which I now recognize is at least theologically plausible.

To which we should add the real possibility that we are living in imminently pre-Parusian times and that we are attending the Passion of the Church, Mystical Body of Christ, whose resurrection will occur on the occasion of His glorious Second Coming...
