Disgusting Duplicity: Francis About Traditionis Custodes

Bishops from Southern France met Francis on September 10 for a two-hours Ad-Limina meeting.

The Archbishops Aveline (Marseille) and Le Gall (Toulouse) called the meeting “fraternal, simple, easy and free.” Francis insisted on “pastoral closeness” and “fatherly attitude” towards the faithful, the politicians and - even - believers of other religions, stressing “the dimension of the heart and of fatherhood."

This hypocritical duplicity came to a quick end when Francis was asked about Traditionis Custodes. Instead of being a “father” he morphed into an accuser calling the Roman Mass an “ideology” and a “pretext for rejecting Vatican II” – although the Roman Mass was celebrated by the Council Fathers.

Callously he snapped, "We must draw a line and basta." Then, he went on saying that in the “dialogue with Islam” the bishops should show a "great closeness" and establish "personal relationship" recalling the importance of “welcoming people.”

More like disgusting “reporting”. The problem is not pope Francis, but rather all the Internet filters through which people see him, reacting to sensational headlines and distorted versions of him. The big scandal is coming from Catholics who attack the pope, thinking themselves more Catholic than the vicar of Christ, when in reality pope Francis is simply echoing the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

That he decided to regulate the use of the TLM in the face of “catholics” who besmirch Church Councils, denigrate popes and deny the validity of the ordinary mass is no surprise. The “toxic trads” are more responsible for the clamp down than anyone else. One need only see the myriad of poison coming from websites and videos and talking heads on the Internet to see the division coming from the so calle d traditionalist sects who seem to reduce the gospel to attending a beautiful liturgy and following regulations. The devil is tricky, and he targets the visible head of the Church in order to scatter the flock, and he uses the proud and the naive to do his work.

Those behind these defamatory and slanderous cartoons will have to give an account for all the gossip and slander being spread that inspire all sorts of evil in the minds and hearts of people. They twist the pope’s words and Church documents with the same skill that antiCatholics twist and misinterpret the Sacred Scriptures, and no wonder, since the devil himself quoted the Sacred Scriptures to Jesus.

Don’t be fooled; instead, take St John Bosco’s advice, and avoid all those who defame and attack the pope, they are puppets of the hellish trickster himself in order to divide and splinter and weaken the Church.

Yes, the traditional mass helps to see 2VC deviations (let's leave it here).

Anyone else notice the lack of "social distancing" and "covid masks" happening here? Not even the camera-man bothered.

Francis to Bishops of France in "Ad Limina" visit, regarding Traditionis Custodes: "They must accept Vatican II, and BASTA!"
De Profundis
Francis is a basta, yes.

Helaas rust op het Tweede Vaticaanse Concilie een vloek. Alles en werkelijk ook alles wat het Tweede Vaticaanse Concilie heeft voort gebracht zal vroeg of laat worden vernietigd.

@Radulf That is the big question. It's not that traditional Catholics albeit Sedevacantists- do not accept Vatican II- they clearly recognize that it was a "valid Council" and pastoral. But, the real question- the elephant in the room- in every Novus Ordo parish priest's office and in the halls of Vatican City is do progressive and liberal Catholic's accept the Council of Trent and the fullness of …More

Hmmm. Could it be that the mass is the mass and VII is the ideology???

A pretext for rejecting VII???
How about VII itself representing adequate proof for accepting it as merely a pastoral council. Which is what it was.
BASTA on the wishful thinking, Holy Father. There's no flying back through time and whipping Paul VI into saying the counsel was anything more than it was. (A failed experiment where documents deviated from defined Catholic teaching.)

Enough of the favoritism, Dad. We all know you're not the nicest guy and have some serious grief about being called out for bad behavior, but the kid ARE watching.
