Live as Citizens of Heaven, Not Earth St. Paul emphasizes the importance of living a holy life, focused on our heavenly citizenship rather than worldly desires. He warns against becoming enemies of the cross of Christ by prioritizing the body over the soul and conforming to societal values that contradict our faith. St. Paul encourages us to imitate his example of striving to imitate Jesus and living a life of dignity and work. Fr. Altier’s Daily Homilies Fr. The Vatican’s Synod Secretariat published on November 17 an Interim Report (28 pages) on its ten study groups. It is essentially a progress update toward a final report expected by December 31, 2025. “A special word must be reserved for the question of women's access to the diaconate,” the Interim Report notes, adding that the final document will address “the specific theme of the participation of women in the life and leadership of the Church.” On homosexuality, the Interim Report states: “Some emerging issues (which we find more appropriate to designate thus rather than as controversial) will be addressed in a manner that offers an operational dimension to the proposals advanced.” The Synodal “Paradigm Shift”: Subjectivity of Sinner The document proposes a "principle of pastorality" as "an interpretive horizon to express this paradigm shift (also in relation to the love/truth relationship).” It calls for a “mutual interaction between life (of the believer) and doctrine” and …More

Anecdote from the report published today: A Synod on Synodality study group attempted to survey lay people on how to enhance their participation in the selection of Catholic bishops: “In total, 15 out of 33 laypersons responded.”
St. Hugh of Lincoln - A medieval account of the miraculous healing of a knight at St. Hugh's tomb. Arx Publishing His feast is observed by Catholics on 17 November. After the death of Saint Hugh, bishop of Lincoln in AD 1200, his tomb in Lincoln Cathedral became a major pilgrimage site in England. The biography of Saint Hugh by Gerald of Wales includes numerous accounts of miraculous healings that took place at the tomb in the aftermath of the saint's death. The healing of Knight John Burdet's paralyzed arm, as featured in this excerpt, is one such account.
A new report has shown that arson attacks on churches in Europe have doubled in one year. OIDAC Europe (Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe), an NGO, released its 2025 report on Monday, raising the alarm regarding attacks on Christians in Europe. Notably, the number of arson attacks on churches and other Christian buildings doubled in 2024, compared to the previous year, with 94 reported cases. Germany experienced the highest number of documented arson attacks with 33. According to the report, a total of 2,211 anti-Christian hate crimes were recorded in 2024, including 274 attacks on individuals. “Behind these figures are specific cases of church vandalism, arson, and physical violence that have real consequences for the lives of local communities,” explained Anja Tang, director of OIDAC Europe. Most anti-Christian crimes in 2024 occurred in France (770), the United Kingdom (502), Germany (337), and Austria (116). According to the report, the …
The ghastly thing is, if this priest (1) is validly ordained (2) uses proper matter (3) says proper words and (4) intends (without believing) what the Church intends....the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ....to be subsequently defiled
Europe and America’s great enemy is Russia. Vladimir Putin does not want us to discover the “golden mean.” He wants to encourage an extreme woke view on the left, and a Himmler-type view on the right.
Bishop Daniel Garcia, 65, has banned kneelers for receiving Holy Communion in the Diocese of Austin, Texas. A diocesan letter dated November 12 and published by Wdtprs.com acknowledges that the use of kneelers during the distribution of Communion has become increasingly common in recent years. Nevertheless, the memo states plainly: “Bishop Garcia asks that the practice of setting out a kneeler for Holy Communion be discontinued.” The diocese cites three reasons/excuses for the cruel decision: "1. The General Instruction for the Roman Missal (GIRM) states, “The norm established for the Dioceses of the United States of America is that Holy Communion is to be received standing, unless an individual member of the faithful wishes to receive Communion while kneeling,” (GIRM 160); 2. The placing of a kneeler near the distribution of Holy Communion could confuse the faithful regarding what is the norm while sending a message that one way of receiving Holy Communion is more, or less, appropriate; and …More
Among the 1,300 guests at today's "Lunch for the Poor" event in the Vatican's Paul VI Hall were 48 transvestites. Many of them get money as homosexual prostitutes. As Leo XIV entered, one transvestite handed him an image of Our Lady. The Pope accepted it and moved to his table to address the crowd. Unlike in previous years, there were no transvestites seated at the main table with the Pope. Transvestite "Alessia" Nobile told WashingtonPost.com that he had managed to give a letter to Leo XIV: "The fact that he mingled with us and sat close to us is a good sign, right?" Curia Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, who oversaw the organisation of the event, attempted to present the seating plan as a purely logistical decision. He claimed that places at the top table were given to poor parishioners who had attended an earlier Eucharist, while the transvestites arrived later and sat elsewhere. #newsYfuuupaion
In a brief interview with the Washington Post, Cardinal Krajewski, the Vatican’s point-person for the event who oversaw its organisation, rejected any suggestion of an intentional snub toward the transgender activists. He said that places at the top table “were given to poor parishioners who had attended an earlier Eucharist”, while the transgender-activists arrived later for the event and “sat elsewhere”. He explained further that the spots for the Pope’s table this year had been handed out randomly to the poor parishioners. “The Church is open to everyone,” he said. “It’s not about [the Pope] meaning to carry on this outreach. They [the activists] came because they’re an integral part of the Church, that is all.”
As saintly Mother Angelica once opined about progressive religious who claim to "serve the poor" but actually patronize them & scandalize the faithful: "YOU MOCK THE POOR! I wouldn't want to be in your shoes at the judgement."
On 9 November, LiturgyGuy.com reported that 75% of the seminarians in the Charlotte Diocese, North Carolina, had discerned their vocation in parishes that used kneelers for Communion. Thirteen men have been ordained as priests in the past two years, and a further eleven are set to be ordained in 2026. However, Bishop Michael Martin has ordered that kneelers should no longer be used as of Advent. Several large parishes have already announced that they will remain 'obedient' to the bishop. Charlotte Diocese lists a total of 44 seminarians on its website — an impressive number for a diocese with a Catholic population of around half a million. Bishop Martin has inherited a somewhat functional diocese from Bishop Peter Jugis. Again: Three out of every four men in the Charlotte seminary discerned their vocations in parishes that kneel for Communion. #newsWgdtrqddye
