Brazil raises a large 54-meter Virgin of Fatima A large monument to Our Lady of Fatima 54 meters high, higher than Christ the Redeemer, was inaugurated and blessed in the Nossa Senhora de Fátima neighborhood, in Crato, state of Ceará (Brazil). After a mass presided over by the Bishop of Crato, Monsgn. Magnus Henrique, musical presentations were held by Sister Kelly Patrícia, one of the founders of the Hesed Institute, and P. Fábio de Melo. The place where the new monument is located has been called "shire of Our Lady of Fatima," according to the mayor's office, and "also has the replica of the chapel of the apparitions" of Our Lady of Fatima, in Portugal.
Today, Pope Leo XIV has appointed Fr. Susai Jesu OMI as the Metropolitan Archbishop of Keewatin–Le Pas in Canada. Born in Pushpavanam, Tamil Nadu, India, in May 1971, he joined the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and was ordained a priest on 27 July 2000. Fr Susai Jesu has worked among the indigenous peoples in the Archdiocese of Edmonton in Canada. Commitment to Indigenous Paganism Fr. Susai Jesu has run his parish, the Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples in Edmonton, as a hotspot for pagan rituals. Each Sunday, a Mass incorporating Indigenous rites is held, including 'sage burning' and Indigenous drumming (see videos from the parish below). Academically, sage burning, or 'smudging', has been described as an 'ancient pagan sacramental', but more bluntly it is a formal act of superstition, or, if performed inside a church, blasphemy. Earning a Sacred Eagle Feather In November 2018, an Eagle-Feather Honouring Ceremony was held for Fr Susai Jesu in the indigenous community of …More

The Vatican’s Synod Secretariat published on November 17 an Interim Report (28 pages) on its ten study groups. It is essentially a progress update toward a final report expected by December 31, 2025. “A special word must be reserved for the question of women's access to the diaconate,” the Interim Report notes, adding that the final document will address “the specific theme of the participation of women in the life and leadership of the Church.” On homosexuality, the Interim Report states: “Some emerging issues (which we find more appropriate to designate thus rather than as controversial) will be addressed in a manner that offers an operational dimension to the proposals advanced.” The Synodal “Paradigm Shift”: Subjectivity of Sinner The document proposes a "principle of pastorality" as "an interpretive horizon to express this paradigm shift (also in relation to the love/truth relationship).” It calls for a “mutual interaction between life (of the believer) and doctrine” and …More

A new six-meter statue of Pope Leo XIV was unveiled in Chiclayo, Peru. Bishop Edinson Farfán led a Mass and blessed the sculpture, asking for Leo’s continued protection. The white plastic statue, created by artist Juan Carlos Ñañake, stands at a roundabout that will be renamed “Papal Oval” and is part of a new tourist route highlighting 38 sites linked to Leo’s time in Peru. Regional governor Jorge Pérez Flores called Leo “a Peruvian who walked with us,” recalling the Pope’s message of closeness to the people of Chiclayo after his election.

Suppose that a man is a member of the Catholic Church, but does not put her teaching into practice, will he be saved?A. He who is a member of the Catholic Church and does not put her teaching into practice is a dead member, and hence will not be saved; for towards the salvation of an adult not only Baptism and faith are required, but, furthermore, works in keeping with faith. According to Oxford’s Migration Observatory, “the number of asylum seekers in the UK reached the highest number on record in 2024 with claims from people from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Bangladesh making up one-third of the total.” But PM Keir Starmer appointed the new Islamist Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood on the promise that she would crack down on mass migration. What kind of mass migration would an Islamist crack down on? Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is threatening a visa ban on Angola, Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo unless they take back their migrants. What do these countries have in common? They’re 90%+ Christian. And the UK has every right to crack down on countries that don’t take back their migrants, but this is an obviously Islamist effort to deport Christians while importing mass numbers of Muslims. The three African countries are being accused of refusing to take back 4,000 migrants. There were 30,000 Afghan invaders in just 2 years. There was a …
