[BLESSED JAN VAN RUYSBROEK – XIII-XIV Century AD; Ruisbroek, Holy Roman Empire/ Groenendael, Holy Roman Empire; Mystic, Spiritual Writer, Doctor Divinus Ecstaticus] “Sometimes a man is touched also from within, through remembering the sorrows and the sufferings of our Lord, and the good which God has given to him and to all other men; or by considering his sins, the shortness of life, the fear of death and the fear of hell, the eternal torments of hell and the eternal joy of heaven, and how God has spared him in his sins and has awaited his conversion. Or he may ponder the marvellous works of God in heaven and in earth, and in all creatures. Such are the workings of the prevenient grace of God, stirring men from without and from within, in many ways. And besides this, man has a natural tendency towards God, because of the spark of the soul, and because of that highest reason, which always desires the good and hates the evil. In all these ways God touches all men, each one according to …More
"If a man does all he can, and cannot do more because of his feebleness, it rests with the infinite goodness of God to finish the work. Then, straight as a sunbeam, there comes a higher light of Divine grace, and it is shed into the soul according to its worth, though neither merited nor desired. For in this light God gives Himself out of free goodness and generosity, which no creature can merit before it has received it."
Michael J. Matt on this post on November 14: “I am told that whomever is running the X account for Archbishop Vigano has announced that I blocked His Excellency as though this were some unprovoked hot flash on my part. In fact, whomever is running Archbishop Vigano‘s X account, left off the context. Today, though I have not heard from Archbishop Vigano in many months, an infantile and sacrilegious AI image of Cardinal Burke on a big wheel toy bike showed up on my Twitter feed from Archbishop Vigano’s X account. It is difficult for me to believe that His Excellency would tolerate such an immature and unchristian assault on a Cardinal of the Catholic Church, so I can only assume that His Excellency’s X account has either been hacked or it is in the hands of a malicious actor who is trying to discredit Archbishop Vigano. Either way, I will not be taking communications from any account that is responsible for such sacrilegious and childish behavior. Archbisho Vigano has my personal cell p
Leo XIV Appoints Bishops Serving the World and Naturalism: Answering questions for the Confraternity of Fatima on 13 November, Bishop Athanasius Schneider commented on the direction of Leo XIV’s pontificate: 'We cannot simply bury our heads in the sand and pretend we don't see it. The relativisation of religion and the uniqueness of Our Lord Jesus Christ was evident in the celebration of Nostra Aetate. There was the silent collaboration with homosexual propaganda in the Basilica of St Peter. And then there are the appointments of candidates for the episcopacy who are openly promoting this worldly and naturalistic agenda against God’s commandments. So, our answer is to increase our prayers for Pope Leo ever more."
Question to Bishop Schneider: Would it be fair to say that we are now past the initial wait and that we can now see the direction the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV will take, especially in light of the signing of the note against Coredemptrix/Mediatrix, the involvement in the Nostre Atate celebrations, the silence regarding the invasion of Saint Peter's by the homosexual ideological revolutionaries and the desecration of the Holy Door, as well as many recent episcopal appointments?
Ml 3:19-20a “For you who fear my name, the sun of justice will arise with healing in its wings.” The word “fear” means you who welcome me. 2 Th 3:7-12 “Work quietly.” “Let them work in peace.” By being at peace with the Lord, work becomes leisure. Lk 21:5-19 Jesus declares to them: “The days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.” Here too, Jesus leads us to the realities of heaven. The earth, that of which is earthly, existence will pass away, but the Love of God, the only Word of God, remains. God's love is; we can’t take nothing away from it, and add nothing to it. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
"How I love my Mother! What would have become of me, if I had not had Our Lady? She has preserved me from countless dangers. Ah, my dear Mother, I will love Thee always and forever!" - St. Gemma Galgani
Mexican Bishops write, "To die shouting ‘Long live Christ the King!’ was to affirm that no human power can claim absolute sovereignty over a person and his conscience"
1 M 1:10-15, 41-43, 54-57, 62-64 "In those days there appeared in Israel transgressors of the law who seduced many, saying: “Let us go and make a covenant with the Gentiles all around us.'" Oh, to stray from the Love of God leads to evil. Letting oneself be Loved by God distances oneself from evil. Lk 18:35-43 "He follows Jesus, giving glory to God." The man who has regained his sight and of whom Jesus says, "Your faith has saved you," discovers the joy and peace of God within himself. By remaining with the Lord, in His Love, he can give glory to God throughout his existence. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
Can this be true or just something made up to make the pope look bad...which it does...That picture of the man made up to look like a woman is so creepy...if true it is evidence of the devil at work, ..no I won’t obey, I’ll be whatever I want to be...not how I was made originally....And the story about his being subjected to an exorcism, while possible, suggests that the people around him forgot about praying for him but rushed to rituals which can take a long time, even if done properly....AND why did that child want to look like a girl...was the family normal..was the mother sane or the father...lots of questions which the pope didn’t seem to care about...
