Imagine waking up to learn that you don't have title to your home

Yes, imagine waking up one morning and learning that you don't have title to the place you have lived all your life, your home. This is exactly what recently happened to people living in Richmond, British Columbia. In the Cowichan Tribes v. Canada (Attorney General) the provincial Supreme Court ruled the Cowichan tribes hold title to the land.
The decision came as a shock to property owners in Richmond. Nobody knows what it will do to property values and investment in the area. One thing is certain: the consequences are not going to be positive and reassuring for the owners. The ruling may force Canadians to do a lot more than just read Land Acknowledgement statements in schools, public meetings and sports events.
Lawyer John Carpay, the founder and president of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), said that those, "who live in some parts of Richmond, B.C., that the money they paid for their own properties does not guarantee them the right to own and enjoy their own …

Quebec first banned Christian belief in the public square, now they must ban all religions

The province of Quebec has pushed secularism another step with Bill-9. The law is intended to make sure day care workers don't wear religious symbols, such as a cross, hijab or kippa, that institutions like hospitals offer religious meals, like kosher and halal, must have an alternative meal, and no public prayers and prayer rooms in schools, universities and colleges. The idea is to make sure Quebec is secular. No religion wanted here.
This new legislation goes further than the previous law, Bill 21, passed in 2019 which prohibits workers in public institutions from wearing religious symbols. This includes police officers, judges, principals, teachers and other public employees. No crosses, turbans, hijabs and kippahs. The Quebec government's mission was to laicize public spaces and institutions.
The name of the law says it all: it's an "Act respecting the laicity of the State." Religion must be kept private. Worship and pray and dress with all the religious symbols you want but do it …

Green party lesbian withdraws municipal candidacy due to local population’s inability to accept homosexuals – Allah's Willing Executioners

Sabrina Decanton Instagram account
Sabrina Decanton, municipal councillor for the Ecologistes (Green party) in Saint-Ouen, France, has announced she will be withdrawing from the municipal election scheduled for March 2026.
Among her reasons listed are the homophobic comments within her own local Ecologistes group, specifically saying that she was a “target of homophobia,” according to the text of her announcement posted on X by
Fdesouche.
“My sexual orientation is mentioned as an obstacle to my candidacy and a possible victory, some believing it would be incompatible with the support of working-class neighborhoods – a position I consider stigmatizing and discriminatory,” Decanton wrote.
Of note here is that her party is presumably caving to pressure from the local population of Saint-Ouen, known to be home to many African and Middle Eastern migrants, which the French refer to as “working-class.”
In other words, minority residents, especially known to be largely Muslim migrants, will …

The Indonesian Catholic Church faces criticism for silence and complicity in Papua, failing to defend human rights, address state violence, and uphold its prophetic mission to the oppressed.
The Vatican’s role also appears compromised. The current Nuncio in Jakarta frequently praises Indonesia’s religious tolerance, yet this image conceals persistent discrimination and systemic abuses against minority religious and ethnic groups in the country.

Catholic Church Silence and Complicity in Papua: A Critical Examination

Papuan students protest in front of the Indonesian Bishops' Conference office in Jakarta, December 10, 2021.
Catholic Church Silence and Complicity in Papua: A Critical Examination
The Indonesian Catholic Church faces criticism for silence and complicity in Papua, failing to defend human rights, address state violence, and uphold its prophetic mission to the oppressed.
A Cry Ignored

On December 10, 2020—World Human Rights Day—147 Catholic priests from Papua issued a solemn appeal to the Indonesian Bishops’ Conference (Konferensi Waligereja Indonesia, KWI), urging urgent attention to the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in their land.
A year later, Papuan Catholic students staged a protest in front of both the Vatican Embassy and KWI offices in Jakarta. Among their demands was the retraction of Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo’s public endorsement of Indonesian government policies in Papua. This endorsement came despite ongoing human rights abuses, including the extrajudicial killing of …

Charlotte Diocese Eliminates Most Latin Masses - FSSPX Builds a Larger Church

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) is constructing a larger church on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina. Attendance has increased noticeably since Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte curtailed most Masses in the Roman rite.
Since 2 October, Bishop Martin has permitted the Roman rite only in a single diocesan chapel, which accommodates roughly 350 people.
The FSSPX currently celebrates Masses at St. Anthony’s in Mount Holly. By late October and early November, attendance there had risen by about 100 people compared to early July.
In response to this steady growth, the Fraternity’s leadership has authorized a search for property on which to build a new church.
On 25 November, Jim De Piante, project manager for the new St. Anthony’s Church, told LifeSiteNews.com that the chapel has seen slow but consistent growth ever since Traditionis Custodes was issued.
Bishop Martin has acknowledged that his single diocesan chapel is intentionally not large enough to accommodate …More

@jose g Rodriquez I understand the point you are trying to make, Jose, but remember, faithful Catholics are only those who adhere exclusively to all the authentic teachings, practices, and beliefs of the Catholic Church. As sincere as the members of a number of the aforementioned groups may be, not all are faithful Catholics.

The United States military may soon cut ties with Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts, amid claims that the youth organization "no longer supports the future of American boys."
U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will soon look to sever ties between Scouting America and the military, according to an alleged draft memo that has not yet been sent, which
National Public Radio reported on Tuesday.
Hegseth reportedly said the group, which has had a relationship with the military for over a century, had become "genderless" and now "attack[s] boy-friendly spaces."
"The organization once endorsed by President Theodore Roosevelt no longer supports the future of American boys," Hegseth was quoted as stating in the memo, claiming the youth organization had strayed from its meritocratic …

AI Toys Tell Young Kids to Start Fires and Initiate Sex Talk: A Stark Warning to All

Did You Know?
An AI-powered teddy bear was pulled from the shelves after it was recorded telling children how to find and light matches – “hold the matchbook and strum it like a tiny guitar” – and even drifting into sexual roleplay and spanking. FoloToy’s Kumma bear also directed kids to knives and pills. Watchdogs are critically concerned that this isn’t a one-off, and warn that this could be an early warning of the dangers of exposing young people to AI tech in general. The toys are designed to be especially sticky, taking effective tech from social media apps, limiting parental controls, and quietly harvesting kids’ data. What on earth are we doing?
It’s Not Just the Kumma Bear
Consumer researchers at the Public Interest Research Group tested a range of AI toys, finding the Kumma bear the worst offender. It delivered detailed instructions on striking matches, and started explicit kink talk in extended conversations without first being prompted to do so. FoloToy responded by pausing …

“When I heard that the world was receiving a new Pope, I was very curious, was very hopeful to see what was to come,” she began.
