Yesterday, Conservative Party Member of Parliament Michael Ma issued a statement to explain why he crossed the floor to join the Liberal Party of Canada. This makes for the second Conservative MP to do so in this 45th Parliament. The other was Chris d'Entremont of Acadie, Annapolis. Mau not long ago was criticizing the Liberal Party for taking money from Canadians. What a political opportunist. May ran for the Conservative Party in the 2025 election as a candidate in Markham-Unionville. Why is this political betrayal even permitted? If one gets elected as a Conservative representative one should not have the right to cross the floor. Run in the next election with the party of your choice, if you believe your present party no longer reflects your views.
