Another Monument to Francis' Pauperism Ideology
Trying to cover up the Vatican's religious vacuum, Francis blessed an expensive sculpture celebrating "poverty" in St. Peter's Square on November 9. It is entitled “Sheltering.”
The life-size bronze thing was made by the usual Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz who describes himself as “an artistic soldier” for Francis.
It depicts a homeless person being covered by a blanket drapes over him by a flying dove.
This motif is fitting as the St Peter's Square has long been taken over by urinating vagrants.
