If you wish to know in which direction the U.S. Catholic Church is heading....there was not one message of condolence from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops on the passing of Bishop Morlino. Horrible lack of charity and respect for the dead. Perhaps the good Bishop made them too uncomfortable with his staunch opposition to abortion and homosexuality. Eternal rest, God grant to him!

Dear God...NO!....
What shall we do?....we have so scant few bishops like him in this entire world. He was among the VERY BEST and GREATEST of our shepherds in the whole Church throughout the globe, most certainly here in America. A TRUE servant of Our Lord and priestly son of Our Blessed Mother. Implacably bold, undauntingly courageous, kind, loving, steadfast, faithful.....HOLY. A Warrior and Defender of the Faith.
For those of us who revered and esteemed Bishop Morlino as a beloved spiritual father, his unexpected departure is heartbreakingly tragic. Such an unspeakable, irreplaceable, unimaginable loss is quite devastating, especially considering the horror that we face in these dark, desperate, diabolical times.... I would never have believed he would be taken from us so soon....this is hard, so very hard.
There are no words...just no words...
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. Requiescat in pacem.
