An important event for what is soon to follow. Did not Pope John Paul II tell us at Fulda that the renewal of the Church awaits the return of the Holy Virgin? And by necessity, the valid election of a worthy successor to Benedict XVI who will consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart? And by necessity, the valid election of a worthy successor to Benedict XVI who will consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart? Expectations of dire consequences (world war) would rule out completely the conversion of Russia and Putin is smart enough to know this. Difficult times ahead - certainly, but the Lord's promise to the Apostle Peter and his legitimate successors remain unchanged.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and an active prayer life is our best and only weapon against the evil that confronts us.
Pax Vobiscum.

I don't think so. Benedict XVI was so loved, that if the Bergoglian filth tries something, the good Cardinals, and the Faithful will rise against them. The traditional Catholic side will win.

One thing we have learned is that the bishops and cardinals, even in the face of extraordinary error, will not lift a finger.

@Avalanche Catholic -Great advice. I do very much think that the liberal trash will try something in the Catholic Church, but it will very swiftly backfire badly on them. Pope Francis is set to officiate (preside slumped in his chair/wheelchair) at the funeral of Pope Benedict XVI in Piazza San Pietro. I hope, pray, and believe that the outpouring of love and respect for the late, great Pope Benedict will be so strong, and such a surge of people in the Square, that Francis won't pull any destructive tactics against the Church. Instead, I predict that he will very quickly, within 2-3 months of Benedict's funeral, resign himself and go to live at St.John Lateran, like he said a year ago. And, as a surprise for him, he will neither manipulate the College of Cardinals to elect a Francis II, nor meddle once a new Pope is named. I predict someone just like Benedict liturgically, or even more so, will be elected. Muller, Burke, Sarah, Eijk, Erdo, several others who are never named, or maybe even an Archbishop who Francis snubbed by denying him the red hat he deserved will be elected. Anyway, I think it will be a man traditional Catholics will be very, very pleased with, and progressives/Bergoglians in despair over. People like Fr. James Martin will rush into exile back to the USA, never to be heard from again. 😉

Francis said he would go live in the Lateran, not the Vatican. That Benedict XVI chose to still live within the Vatican is one more example to me at least, that he really didn't relinquish ALL the office of the Papacy. I read that many in the Roman Curia forced him out because they hated "Summorum Pontificum" and other initiatives of Benedict XVI, and they twisted his words around when he resigned, making it sound that he had abdicated, rather than just resigned the active apostolate of the Pope. He had alot of enemies in the Curia....Sodano, Re, and Bertone among the worst. Bertone played two games...loyal Secretary of State, backstabbing radical behind Benedict's back.
But now Francis and his people are so radical, and have split the Church, that even those in the Curia not really traditional, but basically "fence-sitters" are against Francis.
I think he will resign VERY soon, and the Cardinals will definitly not elect a Francis II.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori please brace yourself. What you have described is not what will happen. BerGOGlio has set in motion the Synod on Synodality. @Kenjiro M. Yoshimori please brace yourself. What you have described is not what will happen. BerGOGlio has set in motion the Synod on Synodality. This process will invert the teaching mechanism of the Church. No longer will the teaching come down from God to man through his Holy Vicar (Benedict XVI was the final Pope, as St. Malachy prophesied), but, instead, the new, false teaching of the Counterfeit Church will come from "discerning" God's will by listening to the movement of the "Holy Spirit" (actually the unholy spirit of Satan) in the minds of the participants in the synodal process. The outcome of this synodal process will be the rejection of the objective, eternal Truth taught by Jesus and his One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church for 2000 years and its replacement with the humanistic dogmas of wokism and communism. The only sinners according to this Counterfeit Church will be the "backwardists" who hold unwaveringly to the traditional Truth taught by Jesus as we know them through the dogmas and doctrines of the Catholic Faith. We are near the "consummation of the age" (Matthew 24), prepare spiritually so that you are not deceived. May Our Lord and Our Lady guide you!

@Clement Jaeho Chung -Hi Clement! Yes, to answer your question, I do think we will get an orthodox and traditional Pope when Bergoglio quits or dies. I hope he quits in the next 2-3 months. @Clement Jaeho Chung -Hi Clement! Yes, to answer your question, I do think we will get an orthodox and traditional Pope when Bergoglio quits or dies. I hope he quits in the next 2-3 months. As for his "Synodal Church", I think that will blow up in his face, because there is a rising tide against it among Bishops everywhere. We have not hear much form them because they are not ignorant loudmouthed evil men bent on an agenda, rather they are good Catholcis who are biding their time. Francis, his people, and the idea of a "synodal church" is hated by huge segments of the Church. He will fail, and they will fail. I lready know of some parts of italy and France and Poland, where the liberal Bishops are being forced out, to "retire" due to their "stress" because the faithful are against them....particularly in France. Even in England. And since the persecution of Fr. Frank Pavone, increasingly in the USA. The SSPX and all the sedevacantist groups are exploding with growth...and they do not represent a tiny fraction of the Church....they are growing. Just as evangelical Protestantism might be growing in Latin America, I read so is traditionalist Catholicism....the faithful taking it upon themselves to restore the Church according to Catholic tradition regardless of what bishops or Popes say. This is a GREAT thing, because it is also stirring in Italy.
I know that Pope Francis and his people don't care what they do to the Church, but if they do what they want, so many will leave the Church, and restore it according to tradition without them, that they will loose tremendous amounts of support....and money (which they care the most about).
So when Bergoglio quits, which I hope is soon (I read that Francis has been anxious for Benedict XVI to be out of the way so that he can quit himself), we might get a good Pope, because he and his agenda and appointees are hated so much they will never be pope!

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI has died at the age of 95, bringing to a close the momentous life of a Churchman who proclaimed the “eternal joy” of Jesus Christ and called himself a “humble worker” in the vineyard of the Lord.
