In my humble opinion the only way to prevent/halt the muslim invasion of Europe is that Europeans must hold on to the Christian faith/values/morals. Stop selling empty churches to muslims so that they transform it to a mosque (which always pains me when I see them taking down crosses from churches and raising their star and crescent). Mr Bergoglio can't do nothing because he takes money from muslim countries and their leaders..............he says extend the arms to everyone but not at the expense of Christian Europe.

On the other hand Matteo Salvini can stop the muslim invasion of Europe!!!

Unwarranted assumption on your part @V.R.S. Don't play "mind-reader". You don't know what Francis knows. He might very well know and simply prefer tact in favor of imitating your pretetious habit of flaunting your marginal knowledge of history while being utterly oblivious to the present.

This was supposed to be a courteous formal diplomatic meeting, as evidenced by the gift of a valuable manuscript. not the sort of contentious minutae-driven debate over medieval history you prefer.

Quite funny and symbolic. Francis does not know the European history to show the Hungarian Calvinist clown his place. Innocent IV was the great pope and Bela IV was the great debtor of the Jews (cf. H. Graetz *) for example). After his death his son and the Hungarian nobility decided enough was enough and the usury paradise ended.
P.S. The Mongols were not Muslims when Bela IV reigned.
