More than eighty young Catholics prayed a February 10 rosary on their knees on the steps of Paris' Saint Sulpice basilica in reparation for a February 6 syncretistic meeting (video below) in the same church.
During the syncretistic event, Islamic dances took place in the basilica's choir, and suras were read from the pulpit. Moslems said their prayers in a chapel. Mgr Pontier, the administrator of Paris Archdiocese, was present and spoke at the meeting.
A church is a sacred place reserved for the worship of God, not a theatre or a mosque. It is revealing that the Roman Mass is not “allowed” in this formerly Catholic church.
