The British MP and writer George Galloway, 69, calls the Mass in the Roman Rite "poetry in motion".
On May 15, he met Francis during a Wednesday audience and told him not to restrict Holy Mass, Galloway told Telegraph.co.uk (26 June).
Describing himself as "a big fan of this Pope", Galloway believes that Francis "has a lot of enemies, so he has to rely on different factions. It's a very backstabbing place, rather like parliament." In other words, he has no idea what is going on in Francis' Vatican.
A brilliant rhetorician, Galloway is one of the few members of the British parliament who does not belong to the regime and war parties. He created his own party, the Workers' Party of Britain, and made international headlines when he won his seat in the Rochdale by-election with a significant majority from the Labour Party, which had held it for 14 years.
Galloway describes himself as a practising Roman Catholic. He goes to church every Sunday. His mother receives Holy Communion daily.

Galloway panders, repeatedly, to the Muslim vote bank. He used to present for the Iranian State propaganda outfit (Press TV). CINO - Catholic In Name Only.

@lancs1 Have another look at the names on the list I posted earlier. Not an overabundance of Catholics there. I am aware of who Galloway is. Just an interesting snippet about someone who may yet smell the coffee.

Francis is stepping out of the way for the anti-Christ. Francis has to first get rid of the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Tucho, Roche,Grillo etc. probably had a good laugh at Galloway's expense when Pope Francis told them this one. The laughter probably could have been heard thru the walls of the Vatican outside.

Galloway is naive to try to paint Francis as a victim of many enemies. I'm only 22 and know something about the Church from my senior year in college last year, when we had to read Church history and about recent Popes. I took an interest and read about Vatican news on the internet 3-4x a week. Taking a break now after graduation, but job search time in the Fall is looming. As a business admin./finance major, it shouldn't be hard.

@Christopher Shahrazade The Marines are always looking for a few good men and they have vacancies. Check them out. 😉

@Liam Ronan -Thanks but no thanks! I read about the USA military. THey're more WOKE than Tucho, and they have lots of vacancies because no one wants to train with a bunch of queers, and be indoctrinated in DEI ideology. The USA military had beeter watch their step. China is getting to be the most powerful army in the world, and I guarantee they don't waste 1 second on DEI, or making accomodations …More

Spoken like a 22 year old. Wait another 53 years and you'll catch up to me.

@Liam Ronan -I always like your posts. Yeah, I'm only 22, and I do hope I have another 53+ years to go. You are lucky, because you probably remember real popes and a real Church. Me, my siblings and even my parents were not so lucky. We all are VAtican II products.

Funny think about the Catholic Church though. Until this last past year as a senior when I took 2 Church history courses (1 Winter,1 Spring semesters) I never noticed things about the Church. But when I started doing out assigned readings and research, and learned Mass attendance went from 60-90% in some countries like USA, Spain,Ireland ,France,Italy and Poland, to 2%-25% today, and big religious Orders went from 50,000 nuns to 11,200, or from 8,000 to 1,200, or seminaries from 580 students to 44 students, I knew something is wrong.
These people who still keep mouthing off as to the virtues of VAtican II remind me of the era of Mao Tse Tung and the "Cultural Revolution" we sudied this year. People held held Mao and his teachings up like they were "god" as he drove China into the ground. Same with all Vatical II enthusiasts going after the TLM etc....especially Francis and Tucho.
The Chinese were lucky and finally put an end to the "worship" of Mao and his reforms. But they had to wait until he was dead to undo him.
I think the Catholic Church isn't so lucky. Enough "younger" generation have been brainwashed into Vatican II robots that even with Francis death, it'll be 53+ years before the CAtholic Church is fully recovered. I hope I'm there to see it!!!

As Evelyn Waugh, Lanzo Del Vasto, F.R. Leavis, Nancy Mitford, Agatha Christie, Seán Ó Faoláin, Malcolm Muggeridge, Yehudi Menuhin, René Girard, Franco Zeffirelli, Ralph Richardson, William Rees-Mogg and many such so pleaded with Pope Paul VI. Resulting in the 'Agatha Christie Indult' granted by Paul VI in 1971 for the Traditional Latin Maas to be celebrated in England and Wales.

Among the "many others" was the great Art Historian Sir Kenneth Clark of the groundbreaking famous and enormously popular TV series "Civilization"(1969-70). He joined this assembly of very notable people because of his appreation for the TLM even though at the time he was still a protestant Anglican. But he died a Roman Catholic, having been baptized a few months before his death...I think in 1984.
John A Cassani
The fact that this indult was, according to the story, motivated by Paul VI’s desire not to offend the non-Catholic Christie, rather than a Catholic like Waugh says a lot about the way the conciliar Church has do e, and continues to do business.
