At the October 25 Amazon Synod’s presser, Paolo Ruffini, the Prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, said about the October 4 pagan ceremony in the Vatican gardens that there was "no ritual," and that "no prostration took place.”
He even insisted that "it was explained before" that "this did not happen,” as if repeating counterfactual statements would create reality.
The footage of the pagan event, published by Vatican Media, proves that there was a ritual, and that idolatrous prostrations were performed.
After Ruffini’s stunt, Cristiane Murray, the Deputy-Director of the Holy See Press Office, clapped, though nobody joined her.
