In the past few years I have received 3 different vaccines: The first was a non-recombinant vax against Shingles. The second, two shots, was Shingrix, a recombinant vax against Shingles. The third was the Moderna Covid vax.

I was never told that any of the three was 100% effective. In fact, I was told the opposite: If I remember correctly, the first 55-60% effective, the second 80%, the third 85%.

I was also told that should I get the disease, having been vaccinated, that it would be less severe and of shorter duration.

@Dr. Bobus I have a friend told same. several days after 2nd shot he landed in hospital for a week so weak and sick to his stomach he could not keep food down and suffered from severe stuttering and shaking which he did not have before. Followed by almost 2 weeks in rehab. Now out of rehab. His stuttering is not as bad and shakes less often. He has no recourse to legal action, and will suffer these symptoms most likely for the rest of his life.

Did he receive the Moderna vax?

Vaccines provoke the immune system. For some that reaction is too strong, and I wonder whether auto immune problems are a consequence.

BTW, I have a noticeable indentation about 3x1.5 cm on my left tricep area from a vac of almost 70 years ago.
