Francis gets taken out of context all the time, unfortunately.

Quote and link the Papal Order where Francis "had Catholic Churches closed throughout the world, for Holy Week and Easter". Put up or shut up. @Baptist John Direct link or you're full of it as usual.

"The way it has worked for centuries, is that the bishops are subordinate to the pope."

Irrelevant. It hasn't worked that way for decades. Consider the open opposition of the German bishops to the Pope today. Consider the open defiance of bishops all over the world to then-Benedict XVI's "Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum" allowing the Latin Mass to be said.

It is YOU who babble nonsense because you're an ignorant non-Catholic Baptist. Go post on a Baptist site, Baptist John.

"False Francis is cutthroat, he closes convents, endorses whatever perverse creatures he pleases, sends bishops far far away..."

Your fallacy is: pic related.

So, "yea- no". Francis didn't issue ANY order for "Catholic Churches closed throughout the world, for Holy Week and Easter" and you're not going to quote him ordering churches getting closed, because he didn't and that's because you're full of it as usual.

Post a direct order from the Pope ordering Catholic Churches closed "throughout the world" specifically "for Holy Week and Easter", with link.

Your move, you libellous, blabbermouth little punk. Enjoy the fishies. :D

It was the bishops who closed the churches, not the Pope, Baptist John. Get your history straight, give "credit" where it's due, you moron..

The only thing "false" around here is your accusations, your re-writing of history and your false-Catholicism. Even your name points to this. You're not a Catholic, you're a Baptist. What are you doing on a Catholic site then, Baptist John?

Francis might be an awful pope, but he's the real-deal just like many other awful popes before him. Your alliteration with the F-F is as amateurish as it is wrong just like your accusations about church-closures.

Tschugguel is just trying to keep himself relevant because the Amazonian Synod is old, old news. This is a crass attempt to drum up donations for his "Boniface Institute" and he's going about it the wrong way.

He monetized a role he created as the lone heroic crusader against Papal Pachamama statues. That's awesome for getting Francis-haters to keep donating. But this?

The Fans of Francesco will never forgive him for turning the Amazonian Synod into a statuette splash-down. :D So they're not going to give him a penny for telling the truth even if it supports the Pope.

The "False Francis" crowd despises any truth that contradicts their own narrative. So they're not going to give him a penny either for speaking the truth because it contradicts their own falsehoods.

As I've found myself, arguing the truth for its own sake might be a noble principle, but it's rarely a popular one. Tschuggy should just bow to the inevitable and join the ranks of other B-List Catholic Celebrities.

I suppose if the bishops were obedient to Francis , he could have had them opened, but chose not to?

The operative word in your sentence being "if" which is not "since". ;-)

What? What! Francis' words and history on this very matter speak for themselves.

It was the Pope who backed gay civil unions, outmanoeuvring his own press office (who had tried to kill the story) and humiliating orthodox papalators.
